Bigger question can the fanboys keep themselves from foaming at the mouth as they attempt to reply to my question?

To everyone and anyone who I have had harsh words or silly arguments with in the past, pretty much all of you.
I'm a little fed up of being a pest and getting warnings or thread locks so I've decided to act my age and be a bit more civil.

Might seem a pointless thread but it makes me feel better and it could hopefully build bridges between some of you.

Pointless indeed

You know at first, or for however long youve been a member youve been like this, and until now it was just funny, in a good way mind, then you started grating on me, a fellow Lewis fan with your bias and stupid claims, and now you are resurrecting things from the dead like the final passage of the bible. you my friend are clearly more interested in starting fights (to which your about to fail, again) then debating F1.

As such, not that youll care, but if you havent stopped being a kid the next couple of times your replying to me, i am going to block you.

How is Alonsos wing going up and down randomly his fault? Or Ferraris?

You've got no idea what the wing was doing, and there is nothing official posted, not even a hint that it's being investigated.

Bigger question can the fanboys keep themselves from foaming at the mouth as they attempt to reply to my question?

Remember your promise...

Please though im intrigued, it seems neither Ferrari or Alonso set the wing off, it went off on its own accord, why is that Ferrari or Alonsos fault?

Again, you've got no idea what actually happened, so your stance is illogical at best. I'm simply pointing out what I observed and what the rules are, and again, based on those things I know as facts, Alonso either activated the wing where it was clearly illegal to active, therefore should be penalized. Or, the whole DRS system should be re-evaluated because it is clearly flawed and potentially unsafe.

Youve lost me completely?

Why have i got no idea what the wing was doing?

The fanboy remark was at my own "bretheren" who dont particularly enjoy one of the home boys turning against them, you know like how mexicans would kill a chico if he went and sided with the blacks in prison. Yeah its that but worse..... I was talking bout the Lewis fans baying for Alonsos blood.

Again why have i got no idea what the wing was doing? i dont know what your even attempting to say it just doesnt make sense?

You've mentioned a few times that the wing was moving up and down by itself, there is no way for you or anyone of us at this point to know that. I'm not calling for Alonso's blood, I'm simply saying that there are two distinct possibilities based on the only things that we do know at this point.

Ooooh, cmon now WB you know as well as i do your being cheeky here, dont twist my words, i never said it as fact and i sure as hell didnt imply that what im saying is the fact.

I said how do we know, or what if, infact what i said was " it seems like" (Alonsos wing was going up/down by itself) I didnt outright say it as fact and you know that pal.

All ive done is play devils advocate to what the general consensus is on the matter, not purposely, i do beliee from the evidence ive seen (which is as much as anyone else here) and formed an opinion on it. My biggest argument is that the stewards hae more access then i do and the lack of debate would suggest what im saying is right would it not? That Nobody purposely activated it?

I'm an F1 fan first, and a Lewis supporter second.
It's not my fault you make promises you dont intend to keep, than blame me for reminding you.

And what promise was that? I should add the meaning of intent is that it is what you plan to do, not what you end up doing.

Wheres my promise?

OK, enough with the bickering guy, it's getting old quickly. You guys have a winning driver today and you're here pointlessly arguing?!?!

We arent arguing, i think this is pretty much under control, youll find its quite civil and i said id block him if it continued in the wrong direction.

Let's not kid ourselves... Lewis performed flawlessly today, and her certainly showed what he can do with a car. But it's clear that today Vettel lost this race, the starts completely sealed the fate on his two stop strategy... Today was a 3 stop day, and his having to pit earlier than he wanted because of the fight with the McLarens was the nail on the strategy's coffin.

Had he been able to keep the lead and do what the Red Bull does, extend the lead and therefore be able to build enough of a cushion to stay out a few extra laps, the whole thing may have played out like Australia, or Malaysia instead. McLaren won today's race, but there is no weakness in the Red Bull camp showing... even without the KERS they've got a car good enough to come from 18th on the grid, to finish at the podium. Today's race was exiting because it didn't yield the same results, but nothing has changed from last year and there isn't a constructor that can go toe to toe with Red Bull yet. Barring continued tactical mistakes or a rash of DNF's I'm not getting my hopes up too much for anything other than a repeat of last year.

If that wing just moved on its own then that's a little worrying and potentially quite dangerous. The BBC article I read suggested it was more of a delay which I assumed meant Alonso pressed the button but, for some reason, the DRS didn't activate until much further into the lap. But that does seem unlikely. It seems more reasonable that the flashing light was delayed and Alonso pressed in later in the lap. Although that might seem like cheating, the section of the rules that someone posted earlier does suggest that , if he did press the button in the wrong zone, it was still within the rules.

Quit bickering you lot! Honestly, this is why I'm rarely in GD. It's like some kind of testosterone filled viper pit :hehe:

Here are my (hopefully non-inflammatory) observations of the day:

1. MAN!! WOOP! That was on of THE most exciting races evah! My only criticism is the thing whizzed by so flipping fast! I remember looking at the lap-count at one point and thinking, "Huh? Can't be lap 47...surely???".

2. Am I the only lunatic who actually SHOUTS at the TV while watching a race? Lewey is my driver, so today was particularly intense. I actually felt sorry for my neighbours (my sis was trying to sleep in the next room, she said I sounded like I was having multiple orgasms *snort*).

3. That is the filthiest dirty line of any track that I've ever seen. The second any car deviated slightly from the racing line, a huge plume of dirt seemed to billow out. Crazy!

4. EVERY freaking time I see a Renault, I think it's a Lotus. That JPS Lotus must be so hard-wired into my brain that the colours just automatically scream LOTUS!!! I'm even mumbling away to myself correcting the commentators when they identify Petrov's car as a Renault. Anyone else (obviously over the age of thirty), having the same problem??

The End!

Funny that, i didnt think it went quick as such, but i love it when i know theres like 40 laps left, or 20 laps left, but as soon as Lewis took the lead i want the Grand Prix to finish immediately.
