Worried now... what sort of 80's music?

Ooooh all sorts. I just love it generally, pop, rock, dance....

I had an argument with someone who is seemingly not open to any feedback on their changes to our yard. I was at the point of refusing to work seeing as we have a "Stop the Job" policy after nearly being hit by an artic on Wednesday - seriously, if I'd taken one step back I'd have been a goner. In the end I got what I (and others) wanted and should have no more near misses like that.

And an idea of mine which will solve quite a major issue has been taken on despite a lukewarm reception yesterday morning - I guess the right person must have stolen it and claimed it as their own despite our boss being present when I made said suggestion. Suffice to say I received no thanks and no credit whatsoever. Any future ideas will be kept to myself 'cos this ain't the first time this has happened! :banghead:

Today, we took possession of our new home, paid the pro-rate and I bought a L-shaped desk, leather chair, new wireless router as our old one needs to be retired as it keeps on dropping wireless signal. Also bought some other new stuff for the new house, bedding, microwave and other small stuff, made several trips to the new house, dropping off various boxes, busy day!

And finally took delivery of our new $3000 bedroom suite!

Where did all that sudden wealth come from? Did you rob a bank on your way to your new home?

We normally get that amount across state and federal, but next year it'll be less as I have a decent income coming in from my self employed venture!

Get a good accountant who can make that self-employed income disappear with all the deductions!

If you're getting that much back you're doing something wrong with your W4. The ideal is to have a zero sum come tax time. Otherwise you just let the government use 9000 of your dollars for a year interest free!

Here's WB quoting time value for money concept...when I open my own business I'll hire you as my part time consultant! :D

And pay you in memes.

Probably true, but part time consultants basically rest themselves on a Lazyboy at home with a hot coffee in hand and talk about things from experience...which helps new business owners, occasionally.
