He wasn't blocking, blocking is the driver behind making a move then the car infront cutting him off! Lewis did not block

The car in front cutting him off? You just said that right? Well isn't that blocking? The guy behind makes the move (like you just said) and the guy in front (LH) cuts him off, you also just said that. In simple terms that equates to blocking does it not?

petrov was not making a passing move he was following Lewis! There is a difference if you can't undrstand that then you obviously know nothing about racing!

It is funny you always have to resort to your usual offending comments. And you are the expert as always because what, your a man and you race karts? That is nice to know but clearly I know a lot about racing but I need not boast about my own experiences in this field to see that LH did indeed block. And I dont see why you care anyway. He got away with it didn't he?

Racing your little karts at your age means nothing. If you were really that great, you would by now be racing real cars. Anyway Mr know it all and who has his other McLaren friends support him (you know who you all are), think waht you want. LH blocked. I couldnt care less if he did. It isnt like he won the race. No it isnt the case becauae I do know the difference and thus you are wrong and I do know about racing. So I guess your wrong in your assumption as well. Good for you. I don;t care what you think. If ANY driver had done what Hammy did, my position would be the same, it wasn't blocking, Unlike yourself I don't just support Macca, I'm also a fan of the Ferrari and RBR teams.

Where about in the regulations is this sort of thing discussed? Anyone got a link? I initially took Hamilton's side in all of this but I'll admit I'm no expert on the rules so it's hard to make a fair assessment without reading the wording for myself.

Ok miss speed racer you should learn what a block is if youre a big bad racer! so here is an illustration for you

car A. being followed by car B. in a slip stream.


car B. instigates a move by pulling out of the tow of car A.


car A. moves across to cut car B. off commonly called a block



now what Hamilton and Petrov did was not the above, Hamilton was the one who instigated a move and Petrov followed each time. It was in the braking zone where they both stuck to a line each and went into the corner.

I do believe that lewis may have been wrong depending on what your approach is to the issue. He got a warning for it so its supposed to end there. it is yet to be proven if he did indeed do so in order to block petrov. ( or not ). I am quite glad this has nothing to do with Ferrari in any event so I dont really care. AKR, I dont know why you getting all worked up.

Don't think there is a rule on it i think its just an unwritten thing that Drivers don't move more than once in the breaking zone.

If you watch the Oz reply avalible on formula1.com you can see Massa do somthing very simlar, but in the breaking zone entering a corner.

Well the footage sure like hell looked like what your illustration showed. After I have downloaded the race, I'll watch that part again and re-look carefully to see who moved first. But if I see in more than 2 of the moves that Petrov moves first, then you will be wrong. If not then I guess it will have to be a truce. But I first need to see it again.

Yeah I know. But it would of been nice had he first made his point with the illustration Car A and B thing from the start. Had he did that and not straight away said I don't know anything about racing, we could of avoided all the aggressivness and I would of considered his point in a much more nicer way.

AKR what do you reckon about Massa doing moving around in the breaking zone in Oz when Webber was attempting to overtake
