I hope you cried while your GF or significant other was around as that would have been a sure way to get some "consolation"!

I woke up to the realisation that my beloved nephew had a party in our crib last night. We live in a huge old Victorian house, so luckily, I slept away unawares.

I did have to go all OCD on the kitchen sink though as much vomit had been deposited therein. My hands still stink of bleach. Blech! Horrible teenage boy vomit is yucky and gross.I liked the way the culprit cheerily left the flat with a "Thank's for having me!".

I saw a pair of Wood Ducks today. Every year for the past 6 or 7 years I've been fortunate enough to have at least one pair nest in the woods overhanging the creek on my property. They are arguably one of the most beautiful birds on the planet!

I was a bit bummed out as I was about 3 weeks late in seeing them this year, it's a lovely way to start my spring.
