It's not like Ferrari had much choice. Grab him quick before his stock falls any further.

Re-Nico I would like to go to the end. I thought it was the end of the season and he wanted to at least finish it on track. He knew the chance of the title was long gone.

I was trying to get into that mentality and think of his logic. There isn't any. Pure emotion, you have 2 laps, if you pit it your chance goes to 0% in winning the title, but in the desperation and hope dying last you want to cross the line and know you did every inch of what you had to do. It's an admirable trait. Lesser determined drivers would've said ok thanks I'll collect my pay check and go home early since I'm getting nothing here.

I saw someone comparing this to Lewis and Spa on another site. Which was a dumbass comparison since that was a completely different scenario with Lewis applying logic in thinking forwards with his engine usage. With Nico it was the end with emotion at play. I figure if I were in his position I might do the same. At least I hope I would. :D

*I've no idea if the phrase 'suck you off' is against forum rules. So I self censored.

It's pretty sad when Rosberg, as a real contender, shows the sportsmanship in insisting to his team that he finish the race, instead of quitting and is still accused of doing so based on the assumption that he was still harbouring some far-fetched hope that he could still win.

I thought that's why he didn't want to retire the car... Didn't think he thought he had even the slimmest chance of winning with few laps to go. By that time he was outside of points.

I don't believe we're alone in having the interpretation of his decision!

Bizzare comment to make from someone that supports Ferrari. That team would have of course put their efforts behind Hamilton and made Nico block Massa as he was trying to catch up and would have relegated Nico to a support role After Japan. It's as if all your posts regarding Mercedes in general and Hamilton specifically have a distinct taint to them.

That may be your take on it; but, it's probably because you seem to view
anyone who isn't behind Hamilton 10000000000000% as a Hamilton h8r!

Personally, I graduated from that sort of childishness aeons ago!!

ok sagi, can you explain exactly what aspect of sportsmanship are you are referring to here? you are complaining about something, so please define exactly what the sportsmanship you identified and are speaking up for associated with Nico insisting to his team that he finish the race

just for once please answer the question and dont bail out by changing the focus

Actually, I am not complaining about anything. I pointed out that it was very sporting of
Rosberg to finish the race. He could just as easily have given up; but, he didn't.

Just in case you decide to disagree further, here's a definition of the word. The part to
which I personally referred is highlighted, as a courtesy!

That may be, but it still doesn't address the core comment, a team mate is more difficult to fight when not schackeled so it's odd that you'd be so upportive of the show Mercedes put on after the driver soliloquy of the Schumacher era at Ferrari. Looks like you've become a fan of letting your drivers race.

I can accept and appreciate Ferrari's 1-2 driver philosophy and still recognize
the sportsmanship displayed by Rosberg at Abu Dhabi.
Put it this way, I hate liver; but, when Mom cooks it with enough red wine and
onions, the aroma can still make my mouth water.
