I can think of better ways he could pay back than walking away.....and I'm sure they've crossed Marks mind as well!!

Really, such as what?......... walking into SV's motorhome just before the race and knee-capping him with a baseball bat...?

Taking him out when he's on to win the championship. Helping Alonso and holding seb up. Some drivers do those things to their team mate anyway....mentioning no names!! There are ample choices should Mark with to peruse them.

Yeah - the problem with all that is, he ends up being just as bad, if not worse than SV. The only TRUE way he could get back at him is to win the championship - but that isnt going to happen....

Regardless of whether SV was faster than MW, Regardless of whether SV is No.1 driver at RB, regardless of whether there should be team orders: there were team orders in place, and that order was to hold position. But SV thinks he is above the team. SV only cares about statistics and numbers. I think he has been very short-sighted in doing this to MW. It isnt going to have done his championship defence any favours.

Some very interesting quotes / questions in the post race press-conference:

I didn't ignore it on purpose but I messed up in that situation and obviously took the lead which, I can see now he's upset, but yeah, I want to be honest at least and stick to the truth and apologise. I know that it doesn't really help his feelings right now but I think other than that, obviously a very good race for the team. We handed the tyres I think pretty well today. To sum it up, apologies to Mark, obviously now the result is there but... yeah, all I can say is that I didn't do it deliberately.

I dont understand how you go against team orders, and overtak someone, without doing it on purpose.

Well it's like some sportsmen lose their control on the field. The adrenaline etc, he just can't help it, he doesn't want to lose, and will do even stupid overtaking moves, when it would make sense to take it easy. It seems impossible to him to drive safely behind someone else if he's got a chance.

He took a few too many risks the last Brazil GP, and almost lost the championship because of that. I really think he doesn't mean it (he doesn't think of it when he is racing), he's just out of control when he is racing, wants only to win.

Obviously this may cause some trouble to him.

And that's why, for me, he isn't a great driver - he cant control himself. He is just like Maldonado or Grosjean. They don't deliberately crash - they just get over excited in the race and lose control of their judgement.

A great driver can see the long-term, and knows when to play the game, and when not to a**e-r**e your team mate infront of the world....

Is it just me or does Vettel have a very...shall we say, 'punchable' face? Like, if you're in a bad mood and need to take it out on someone...and you had a punching bag in your house with Vettel's face on it, it'd be very helpful indeed. :hehe:

What if we hear some breaking news in the next few days that Vettel's ended up in the hospital with a few broken ribs and a black eye...and a witness saw a tall Australian with a Redbull cap fleeing the scene, would that change your perception. :hehe:

Stick around...you might see a couple of fist fights in the RB garage sometime this season. Assuming Vettel would be ballsy enough to not have his helmet on during the time.

I must admit, I thought Webber was very restrained in his interview. I thought he'd be more vocal about it.. Maybe he's saving it up!

Lets hope so. As much as a lot of us have said SV is out of order for what he has done, its certainly added another dimension now to the race weekends.... :hehe:

Both on the radio crying and trying to get the team to do their work for them? f*** that mate.

It sounded more like Rosberg just wanted to turn his engine up and have a go.

I don't think he had his engine turned down. Surely if he had he wouldn't have been right up Hamiltons back bottom. He'd have dropped back wouldnt he?
