Eddie Jordan has a point.... if Lewis' pitstop didn't go wrong.... he could well have won the race.

The tyres didn't last and Hamilton was on the BBC just saying that he doubted he could have won anyway.

But that is to ignore his times compared to the other podium finishers. He was in the hunt, as has been explained on the BBC forum.

The times are fine but you saw how much the tyres went off. Besides, Vettel was quite a bit quicker today. Assuming his altenator hadn't failed he'd have won with Hamilton 2nd. Alonso would have been a factor as well.

And yeh hamilton would have probably won it without the pitstop woes, he ruined his tires trying to chase down alonso, wouldnt of had that problem without the 10 second loss

He have still had to chase down Vettel though so he'd probably have still had tyre problems.

McLaren need to wake the hell up.

Jenson has gone missing and he even copied Lewis's setup but still he was slow.

McLaren need updates and they need them fast.

Yea,i think Jenson had a worst race than Lewis but with the Maldo crash the dairy is all on Lewis while Jenson can skulk away.

Anyway,roll on Silverstone and some great updates.

Alonso will have at least one DNF so no problem.

Lewis was graceful on his sky after race interview,that get's under the media skin lol.

Don't tell me you fell for that poor piece of rehearsed wooden script reading?

Maldonado is to blame for ultimately taking Hamilton out, and I do believe needs a penalty - but I think they will award it as a racing incident.

HOWEVER, McLaren need to take the blame for this. Without another sub-standard pit stop, Hamilton would of been ahead of Alonso, who Hamilton was match lap times with, and would of finished the race. And I know it was equipment failure which led to the poor stop - but this new jack has failed them before in practice (according to Ted SKY F1) , and yet they continue use it!!

Well considering I just watched the race and it was pretty obvious his tyres wouldn't have lasted the PR bs is redundant.
