Great drive from Kimi! Hopefully Lotus can keep up with the development pace of the other big hitters this year, I'd love to see Kimi take the WDC, and not just because he's on my Fantasy F1 team either. :D

A fine job there from Kimi, such a contrast from Romain Grosjean! I'm quite surprised at the substantial size of the gap, actually.

According to Ted Kravitz Grosjean got some new parts a little later (on Friday evening) than Raikkonen, and cause FP3 was wet he didn't get a good chance to set the car up. That is a large part of it i think.

Kimi is a real ace. If Renault can stay at the sharp end it could be his year. I d much rather he wins than Alonso or Seb

For once I agree with cookinflat

Sorry to break it to you mate, but Renault aren't even on the grid anymore. But, hopefully Lotus will stay sharp, along with Mercedes, and THEN we could have a 1.Red Bull, 2. Lotus 3. Mercedes 4. Ferrari... 10th. McLaren.

(Of course I know Ferrari will be more competitive than that, but I wonder if there was a time when a teams other than Ferrari and McLaren filled the first 3 positions in the WCC?)

Yeah, I am still trying to come to terms with Benetton becoming Renault let alone this Genii/Lotus incarnation
