Oh btw - Martin Brundle's Australia Quotes:
“You can’t see in those ridiculous mirrors parked outboard on the side pods.”

“When you’re constantly looking at your team mate’s data across the garage, you’re in trouble.”

“Hurry up and wait through the hairpins.”

“It doesn’t hurt when you crash on PlayStation.”

“His first sector a 28.3, which is decidedly not very fast.”

“He’s on a set of tyres that’s beginning to cry, ‘Enough’.”

Jonathan: “This isn’t gonna be good enough unless he suddenly gets a turbo on the way.”
Martin: “A shortcut, he needs now!”

“Turn 8 is eat your sandwiches and think about something else.”

Vettel (over radio): “Oh, gracious! We will show them!”
Martin: “You already showed us. If there was a University of Formula 1, that would be a case study.”

“I thought we might stand more of a chance of finding some drivers here at the poorer, happier end of the grid.”

“That’s the stupid mirrors again. That was zero percent Jenson’s fault.”

“Schumacher won’t appreciate all the Formula Ford barging around.”

“It’s so boring, this Formula 1!! That’s what I hate about it!”

“Massa just gave him the space. It was like an invitation to pass, and Hamilton RSVPed immediately. And Alonso, too busy watching them, gets mugged by Webber.”

“That would be a mother and father of a shunt if those two connected on Turn 12.”

“If I hadn’t heard that myself, I wouldn’t have believed it – an engineer having to tell a driver how to drive.”

“Three things will win Jenson the race: the smooth driving style, no doubt about it; Vettel and his problems; and ... I can’t remember the third one!”
Jonathan: “He’s in the lead!”
Martin: “Yeah, exactly!”

(Alonso’s engineer radios how close Hamilton is getting behind him)
Alonso: “I don’t want to know.”
Martin (laughing): “I’ve said that myself a few times!”

“It’s a pathetic feeling when your tyres are gone: you can’t brake, you can’t turn, you can’t get on the throttle pedal; you just feel helpless.”

“You don’t win a world championship and all the races (Jenson)’s done by not being one of the world’s great racing drivers. But it was interesting to hear Lewis losing his head in the middle of that: ‘My tyres have grained,’ ‘Nothing we can do,’ ‘Why did you pull me in?’ is not a discussion to have while you’re trying to pass the Ferraris.”

“(Vettel) must be on some kind of happy pill, ‘cause he’s slapping the team on the back on the pitwall.”

 Genius! :hehe:

The mugged by Webber comment made me laugh at the time.

This is mean of me,I know. But I was glad when Vettel went out. Not only because McLaren could win but because Vettel really gets on my tits when he does the finger in the air and puts on that rabid dog expression. So when he went out I was up by the television giving him the finger and doing the rabid dog expression :rofl::rofl: Made my day :hehe:

Wow watching Formula 1 from BBC 1 was just fantastic. Everything is different, you have professionals commentating - they have inside sources, interviews with all the drivers and team principles. DONT TAKE THIS FOR GRANTED

This was a much more exciting race. I wish Shumi wasn't nicked in the first lap, he would have been in the top 5 racing, but still, so much passing in this race, really unexpected.

You think it was because of rain and strategy? If it was a hot dry race do you think it would have gone like Bahrain? Is it rain that we have to hope for in the future races to get good racing like today?

I'm excited for this season, it seems that it's gonna be 5 teams in it, now with Renault being included with Kubica.

In a word, yes.

What a brilliant race first victory of the season for McLaren :D

Both McLaren drivers drove like champions was quite brilliant, Button was very much like Prost driving such a calculated and perfectly managed race was simply stunning. Lewis though not achieving a brilliant result drove the wheels off that McLaren doing some amazing overtakes such as the one on Rosberg I don't understand how he slowed that car down in time for the next corner.

Hamilton was very frustrated at his result he may blame the team but he is part of that team and needs to look at himself as well as the others. In a way I'm glad Lewis gets frustrated because it shows how passionate he is also don't forget though he criticised the strategy he did also thank the team at the end of the race for all the hard work they do.

[EDIT]
Forgot to add that Button would of won even if Vettel hadn't of retired because Vettel was going for a two stop because his tyres weren't going to last.

The overtake on Rosberg was amazing, Brundle said he's never seen anyone overtake in that corner :D

What's this, the Hamilton Police? :hehe:

I wonder how many people here would be defending Massa or Vettel if they made a comment on the radio out of sheer frustration.

I'm sick of people expecting F1 drivers to be these perfect, unfailing men, that do everything perfectly and precisely. Lewis complaining on the radio? So what? Kimi eating ice cream while everyone else was on the grid? So what? And the list goes on and on...

Bunch of nitpickers...
