Poor job by McLaren anyway during the off-season. I think they are used to buy everything better than other's but this year needed more knowledge and work ethic.

They made a small error with the aero design which they are finding difficult to track down Also they played it squeaky clean reagarding interpretation of the regs-for which they are paying. They'll sort it but maybe not in time for Lewis to defend his title. Its how things go. lewis cant always have one of the top few cars. It says a lot more about his abilitly that he can get the McLaren places it has no rights to be.It will also silence his critics who said he could only do well in a top car.

Massa 4th :jump:

It'll be quite interesting to know the fuel loads. Buttons lap just seemed to come from nowhere, but again I suspect he's 1 lap lighter than Rubens which is usually worth around 2 tenths here. I could be wrong of course. Geez, we need to get back to the old quali format. This is so confusing. Button pulled a blinding lap from nowhere, and for all we know it was simply because of the fuel load.

Ferrari had a funny day. They give Kimi a new chassis and updates and he doesn't even drag his bottom out of Q3. Whilst Massa, gawd I'm so happy about that one. I heard today that Barcelona has the longest run into the first corner. Lewis was nearly 2nd from 5th last weekend. Massa starts 4th and with a longer run at turn 1. What can he do, I can only hope.

As I said a week ago, Button to win this weekend. If Massa has his way into turn 1, he'll be holding up a few cars like Barrichello and maybe even Vettel. Allowing Button to build a lead. Of course it depends, Massa is a big factor this weekend with KERS on-board.

Nakajima, kudos today. Just a mere 0.022 away from Q3. Shows how close thing are this year. Insanely close.
Piquet 12th, so not bad. But Grosjean took pole posistion, just won the race along with fastest lap. That seat of Piquet's still very much in danger.

Massa could, potentially, be leading by the end of the first lap. The only thing that could stop that, really, is that he isn't starting on the ideal side of the track. Good luck to him, though - he would be deserving of a podium, which would make up for what happened in China where he was running so well.

So much for people saying that Webber was going to out-do him this season. Webber is supposed to be a great qualifier and he's getting done be Vettel.
Webber has been lighter than him at every race so far! its funny he has probably been faster than Vettel in Q1 and Q2 at each race but come Q3 with the race fuels which seem to favour Vettel Mark is slower!
