Geez, I just want to cheer for Lewis, see some close racing and have races decided on the track and not by lawyers or stewards-why do we have to deal with all this crap? As for RD stepping back even more, maybe he thinks there's a conspiracy against McLaren and has decided to expand the car business so he can say "F**K you Bernie and Max!!".

Nobody stopping you from cheering for hamilton. If you really want to be noticed doing that it will be best if you do it on the freeway in peak hour traffic

Really? Why would that be?

I don't blame Ron. Like in bud latest avatar, McLaren has a bullseye painted on them. Ron may have been the one that was two steps ahead of the FIA last year in not getting tripped up in any of their madness. It Martins turn to be in the hot seat. Until Max is gone, there is no shelter, no corner, no friend for McLaren.

No one knows what it's like to be the bad man.... to be the sad man... behind blue eyes

fight on McLaren!!!!!

Cool .. Ron Dennis leaving. do you really accept the reasons that was given?? cos I think when the smoke clears we will still be hearing lots a crap about this move. definately going a lot deeper that davey and the golden child. now there will be some more digging.

The timing is very strange and the reasoning is not very convincing. It was only a couple of months ago Dennis stepped aside so he could concentrate more on the road car programme. What's changed since then for McLaren Automotive to become a separate company and for Dennis to relinquish all control over McLaren Racing? Answer: lie-gate and the Hamiltons.

I second you on that one Chris. These two sods really bringing even darker clouds mclaren's way. first davey and it appears Ron most probably doing the same thing davey did. giving way for da chosen one. what are we missing ???

Yeh but he said in Jan that he was planning to do this?

I think its just better economic sense and its been planned for awhile.

There's no way a driver and his manager would get ron to do this.

People who think a driver and his manager can place and remove people in a team are very confused or conspirational. Looking at previous news, his move was something that seemed to be already in the works. Looks to me like it was just a matter of timing and chance that it happened in the middle of this mess.

On the other hand, he might have switched to McLaren Automotive a bit earlier than what he had in mind, just to steer clear of this brouhaha.

But Hamilton telling him to go? Nah, I don't think so.
