any how, Vettel  Alonso

Well, well imagine what would happen if they BOTH got penalised, that would move Webber up to pole! For once Webber might have a bit of the rub of the green as it were!

(disclaimer: just a guess here)

if i remember correctly, vettel did one run in q2 and one in q3... but i think webber did more, could it be the case that it might be webber that "blocked" heikki?
#108927
He was definately blocked! Commentators were discussing it.

It seemed to be a Red Bull not sure which one...

Anyways...WOOOOOOOOOOHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! At last! It was painful watching Red Bull having reliability issues 2 years ago and STR trouncing RB last season but finally! SV has been a god-send for RBR, even though he's won no points at all :hehe: . Shame that STR are infront of RBR as the team has shown great pace in Melbourne and would have almost certainly notched a Podium spot in Sepang had it not for Webber to come in for Inters...

Yet, on to the race Webber seems to be on about the same fuel load as the Brawn's and looks to be better placed, strategy wise, than Vettel and Alonso. But fingers crossed he doesn't have an tangle at the first corner.

No idea which red bull it was. Hope it wasnt Webber!! The car in front of Heikki had no option but be there because there was another car in front of him, but i didnt see who they all were.

Absolutely! Webbers been faster than Vettel in the last two races at quali(fuel adjusted) He seems to like being a bit heavier.Hope it works for him!!

Don't think fuel loads have been released yet but from what I can work out from times is that Alonso I reckon 11 laps is extremely light and Hamilton is either extremely heavy or the car doesn't perform very well under fuel loads. Vettel looks to be lighter than Webber with both brawns on similar fuel weights to Webber also Trulli looks like he is on similar weights to them as well.

Well, now, that's not quite the result I was expecting. I was thinking a Brawn and Red Bull on each of the first two rows, followed-up by pre-penalty Toyotas and Nico. I guess I was quite wrong, but not unhappy about it. I definitely think that Nico and Buemi are a fair bit heavier than those ahead of them, so they might be able to gain a few places during pit stop windows.

Can't wait for the race tomorrow. I'd really love for Webber to get his first victory :)

As you can see by the Qualifying today,Jensons time is up and now with the other teams getting they're s*** together we will see just how good this washed up playboy is.McLaren are creeping back up their as well so it's only a matter of time before Jenson is not at the top of the leaders board.

Ill say it again,McLaren and Ferrari will be fighting for the title again this year.

Go Lewis...

Surely it may pay dividends to be running light after all?
I mean that will mean they will probably run a short stint on the super softs at first?

given the super-softs are not very suited for the track (with high graining and all that jazz),
i think a short 1st stint on super-softs might be a possibility for some of the teams tomorrow...
we might see vettel go on a short 1st stint perhaps a 3 stopper
