Did you guys hear the cheers when Vettel didn't make Q3 lol they almost as loud as Ricciardo getting pole for a while.

Yeah, can see Ricciardo outqualifying Vettel was popular with the crowd! :hehe::hehe:

Shame he didnt quite steal pole, Hamilton played the role of party pooper!

Well done Daniel Ricciardo; I so wanted him to retain pole position; just goes to show that pre-season testing means very little, who would have predicted a Red Bull on the front row, and who would have predicted that it wouldn't be Vettel. Disappointed that Button failed to make Q3; did he slow too much for Kimi's crash?

Maybe, twas a good excuse to let off the gas pedal.

Thats the whole idea of been good in mixed conditions and having years of experience. Should have been able to handle everything better than his rookie teammate who was quicker than him throughout quali in all conditions

No excuses, erm actually hold on, lets see what Button dos say

I couldnt hear over all my screams.

Oh gosh poor neighbours xD

He is not very popular here.

Hehe I wonder why xD he really earned some haters at Malaysia. Everyone loves Mark

Well, that was exciting! I did not expect a Red Bull to trouble the top three, let alone make the front row. Brilliant job by Ricciardo! :D

I predicted that red bulls would be 11th and 12th so i got one right just the other was way out. This could really be the end of vettels spree because it will be a huge confidence knock.

Ricciardo is one of only like 5 others who I don't mind getting pole other than that my main support goes to Hamilton... I was happy with any of the top 3 being on pole

Nope, just watched the interview with Button, he said he backed off in T3 and wasn't fast enough to make up the lost time. He actually said the car felt good!

Lewis was just so lucky to start his lap at the right time and so lucky not to spin despite driving on the limit of the car. If he was even half intelligent he would have timed his last lap better and would have not been stupid enough to drive on the limit and have to use dumb instinct to keep the car on track at the absolute limit.

At least we saw the clever Seb strategising his way into Q2.

This is all confusing to me, one needs a Phd to work out how smart these drivers are :hehe:

The only downer :irked: ... was Kimi going off, damage didn't look too bad though. He got back to pits, kept his helmet on, & avoided all questions, straight to the back of the garage, through a door, that he firmly closed behind him.
He'll be fired up for tomorrow...

The rain always levels the grid, so we still have no idea about pure pace. The only car consistently getting the job done is the Merc though, and that can't be purely down to the drivers. But wet or dry tomorrow, it will atleast be interesting. And we haven't said that for a while.

Or probably huffed at the new formula and wished he's retired again. :hehe:

You are probably right..
But a few drinks should put him in the right spirits ... :hehe:
Hope he isn't thinking about the rain...& Spa 2008

He's looked abysmal so far compared to Alonso and i do hope he picks it up soon....part of my joy in watching F1 is seeing Alonso throw his toys out of the pram...so wake up Kimi! :hehe:
