Shame Alonso went out. Could have been an epic battle with him in there as well. Felt sorry for Button. Force India were laughable, that is such an utterly stupid way to mess up, but for them at least the car is legit. Hulkenberg was pretty damn feisty, i think he might actually be my 2nd favourite driver now ya know!! Good stuff.

Rant time. Vettel and Rosberg are such lame whining bitches. Screw the both of them. :beans: I haven't read any of the thread having only just seen the race, but i will laugh my butt off if i see any posts trying to actually defend such BS from that pair in the race - no excuses for that. Go find another job that isn't RACING DRIVER you pair of utter pricks.

:yikes: Vettel and Rosberg....are you sure you didn't make a mistake here? I don't see how these two go together.

Both on the radio crying and trying to get the team to do their work for them? f*** that mate.

You gonna laugh then.

Well that's pretty sad really. I'll get on catching up on posts tomorrow.

I love rosberg but during the race I was drunk and telling him to shut up  same for vettel

I was sober and told Webber the same thing Mr9. :hehe:

To be fair I also told the Red Bull pit wall and the Mercedes pit wall the same thing for using team orders in only the 2nd race of the season. They didn't listen.

Ah man i forgot about Hamilton brainfarting in the pits, loooooooool. Seems like more or less everyone in the field drove pretty crap in one respect or another today. Madness.

That was the 'oh s***' laugh out loud moment of the race. But come now, there were a lot of solid drives and removing the hullabaloo on the Merc radio, they looked like a tight team today.

Well, to place it all on the drivers is harsh, but that race was just really... scrappy ya know? Seems like every car had some sort of feck up related to it at some point.

Definitely. Their pitstops were slick, strategy was sound, but a bit too lean on fuel which could be forgiven...a surprising dry race by Msian standards.

I loved Vettel's move; Yes, was waiting them to crash each other out in that fight. (nothing personal of course)

I got 10$ on Merc 1-2, with 1:110 odds!!! that would have been a cool 1100$. So yes, in that case forget team orders for RB, fight and crash. and of course Mercs should have taken their cars nicely to the flag!

So I think everyone did the right thing, expect Webber, who should have fought harder and give Vettel a little kiss.

OK more seriously I think it is pretty lame to give team orders this early. The drivers should decide along themselves whether they are ok not to fight or whether they think it is better to take both cars safely to the flag. Let the drivers decide if they're a team or fight for each position.

It sounded more like Rosberg just wanted to turn his engine up and have a go.

It's fine saying that as a fan, but when you're a team trying to win the WCC (which is more important to them financially), that's not really what you want so late in the race.

And then the Caterham and Williams was it? In the pits taking off the wing?

And racing in the pits. And the force India's. and all those slippery slithery early stops. I tell you there was more action in them there pits!!!!!!!!

Regardless of whether SV was faster than MW, Regardless of whether SV is No.1 driver at RB, regardless of whether there should be team orders: there were team orders in place, and that order was to hold position. But SV thinks he is above the team. SV only cares about statistics and numbers. I think he has been very short-sighted in doing this to MW. It isnt going to have done his championship defence any favours.

Some very interesting quotes / questions in the post race press-conference:

I didn't ignore it on purpose but I messed up in that situation and obviously took the lead which, I can see now he's upset, but yeah, I want to be honest at least and stick to the truth and apologise. I know that it doesn't really help his feelings right now but I think other than that, obviously a very good race for the team. We handed the tyres I think pretty well today. To sum it up, apologies to Mark, obviously now the result is there but... yeah, all I can say is that I didn't do it deliberately.

I dont understand how you go against team orders, and overtak someone, without doing it on purpose.

Q:...emotions are raw but when you have a teammate who does ignore team orders, does it make you consider your future with the team, maybe even in Formula One?
MW: "My mind, in the last 15 laps was thinking that many things, yes. Many many things."

I know he has said this in the heat of everything - and nothing will come from it... BUT - has MW been disrespected by the team / SV too many times now...? Could this be the final straw that makes him do something unthinkable such as walk away.....?!

I can think of better ways he could pay back than walking away.....and I'm sure they've crossed Marks mind as well!!

Really, such as what?......... walking into SV's motorhome just before the race and knee-capping him with a baseball bat...?
