Well that's it (thankfully) all over for another 4 years. Finally the TV can return to normal and I can buy a paper that has the sports where they belong - at the back!

zurich_allan, you really are the voice of reason, before reading your post, I would have gone along with Jabberwocky's summation of the Olympics, having not watched a single event or ceremony during the past two weeks, it really didn't interest me in the slightest.

to be fair it was written on my facebook page to annoy people who where gushing with national pride at the time.
