I went out for a drive in 20 degree weather, it's very slippery on extreme performance summer tires.

What did you do? Crash it?

I am a responsible driver, no crashes... but there's no way to really push, anyway it was just to get the oil up to temperature, makes sure to get the tires a little warm and keep them from getting a flat spot from sitting and just generally to get out of the house and listen to load engine noise.

Tomorrow is Super Sunday here stateside so if any conquering nation wants to invade us, tomorrow around 7 or 8 PM eastern time, we'd be easy pickings.

Worked as a role-play actor in some training examinations for Dental Nurses yesterday and today. Oh dear. If the standard of candidate I have seen is representative of the quality of staff that will "look after" us over the next generation, then we are f!cked. 90% of them are brainless...

Exactly, the water fight two nurses had over me totally took away the thought of the fact they were taking my drains out. And at the dentist there's nothing like a nice pair of ear warmers to take away any thoughts of pain.

My daily driver has been getting lousy gas mileage of late. Even my wife noticed so it's bad. Normally It gets 30 highway and 24 city, but it's been down about 5 or 6 MPG from both of those figures.

Today I changed the spark plugs which were okay, and cleaned the MAF sensor which was very oily, so I'm hoping that was the ticket.
