Schumi hasn't been known for being a very clean competitor...

Aswell as Hamilton, Vettel, Webber, Trulli and the list goes on and on.

All animals are equal, but some are more equal then others

I don't see how it's a different scenario with the exception of Hamilton making more defensive moves. And it is not obvious even given the footage!

Well if you cannot see the difference between the two, blocking and defending, there is nothing more for me to say.

Both Hamilton and Schumacher made more than the one defensive move, both moves were defensive as there is no reason for Schumacher to be on the right hand side of the track except to stop Massa getting the inside line into the final turn and then made a second move to block Massa on the outside!

It's clear that we have different opinions on the incident, so I shall leave my commenting on the subject here!

Oh true. All have their dirt. But some are dirtier and try to hit other cars to prevent them from winning championships.

Just sayin'.

And there's a difference when you're fighting for a spot on the podium versus the 12th or 13th position.

Exactly my friend. A leopard never changes its spots. Massa had Schuey in his sights, had faster pace and was going to overtake. Michael did what Michael does best, play dirty. The only difference this year is, Schumacher is fighting for the scraps on the platter.

True but there are WCC points to consider right??

Mercedes are hardly pushing for that one either

Hmmm... weak sauce. I bet you WCC points is 5th or 6th on a driver's priorities list.

I love stuff like this. I read a tidbit over on GPUPDATE that Canada was the first time since 1991 where there was an all WDC podium finish!

Whats so 'weak sauce' about caring more about a WDC title than a WCC??
Yes it is more important to me and I'm not scared to admit it.

Michael had the right to defend cleanly. He made a change to block the inside, then went outside for the turn. That should count as a 2nd defensive move.

I think the only reason he didnt get a reprimand is because several other drivers (incl. Schumacher also) got away with similar or worse moves during the race......

Change NOT a block as it was his line to decide.

then went outside for the turn. That should count as a 2nd defensive move.

Clearly your perception of a defensive move and a blocking move are not one in the same.
