I will laugh if we end up with a giant Trulli train.

Bet we do .

That would be AMAZING! :hehe:

Wouldn't it theoretically be able to be 20 cars in length?

Still not feeling very confident, to be honest for some reason I'm not looking forward to the race...

Could it be the poor pace of Williams :(?

It probably is, considering they were well and truly in the mix with Brawn, Toyota and Red Bull in the first two races and now they're falling down the pecking order because everybody else has been able to throw money at making the cars better whilst Williams can't do that.

I just have a really bad feeling they're going to drop to the back of the pack, Nico will end up leaving at the end of the year, Kazuki gets yet another lifeline and confirmed number 1 driver but then the team gets the plug pulled. I don't think I could follow anybody else unless Lotus returned...

Suppose all we can do is wait until we get to Spain.
:( They still have solid pace, just need to use their money wisely.

They still have solid pace, just need to use their money wisely.

They need to ditch Crap-a-jima, he is pegging the team back, contributes no technical input whatsoever and only brings Toyota's money with him.

I wish we still had Wurz, he may have been crap in qualifying but was always good in the wet, crazy races and excelled in car development.

Really we need to get Senna ASAP because Bernie is prepared to pay to get Senna into F1, and just seeing the Senna name back in F1 will lure out some gullable sponsors.

But in the long run, Max Mosley needs to put his whip down and get these budget caps in post-haste. McLaren and Ferrari are only moving forward because they're throwing money at new development parts coming out of the factories every day. We've finally got to the point where McLaren and Ferrari are no longer at the top, and I sure as hell hope they don't find their way back to the top very quickly because of their ability to throw money. Imagine what it's going to be like for Lola, USGP and Prodrive when (or if) they enter F1 next year, they'll be nowhere near Force India's pace.

I agree with everything you said there. The Problem with the Manufacturers is that they will never accept these proposals, simply because (as you've eluded to) stops them dominating the sport. The money Ferrari and Mclaren throw at development is ridculous. Furthermore I don't go in for this argument that they have the money so they can do what they like. Quite simply it doesn't wash.

The thing about Williams when they had Wurz, was that they were able to keep development going and by the end of the year Rosberg drove a brilliant race in Brazil to finish ahead of Kubica and Heidfeld. He ended up 1 point behind Fisi.

I think they're problem now is that they don't have that. Nakajima isn't a development driver, nor is Hulkenburg. So it falls to Rosberg who clearly doesn't seem strong in terms of developing a car. When Wurz was there, the car did actually get much better and more consistent as the year went on. Now, in the last two years every team has had a driver who's experienced at getting a car to work well, whilst williams haven't. I mean, it's the reason Force India hired Fisi, to sort out any problems with the car, which he apparently did. Williams form right now are inconsistent and even with a good car they've failed to make the most of it with poor strategy calls.

I mean, if your Rosberg what do you do. Cling to Williams, or look elsewhere.

Well if he wants to leave fine, he can please himself as far as I'm concerned, just as long as when he leaves we can also chuck out Nakajima, save some money on the new Cosworth and we can have a fresh start with Hulkenberg or Senna as the number 1.
