As important as mentioning age or height in the description of someone who's committed a crime but probably easier for a victim or witness to determine.
I see no difference in using male/female and using black/white etc. in describing someone, PC has gone mad imo.
Would it be wrong to say what accent someone had? If they had Irish or Scottish accent?
I'm not the one here saying that describing someone as what they are is derogatory.
