Kubica to Renault

I don't know why, but this development makes me unhappy. Probably because I don't like Flavio.

As far as Fernando to Ferrari next year... who's to say that Ferrari won't run three cars? Daddy di Montezemolo has been lobbying pretty hard with the FOTA to make it happen.

Kubica would be better off at Williams, Flavio ditched him from the Renault young driver scheme a few years back with some unsavoury comments...

Any about his nose? Or is that just Ron? :hehe:

If Kubica goes to Williams, that means Heidfeld probably wouldn't and, to be honest, I'd rather have Nick back there.

If Rosberg leaves and the Hulk beaches the FW32 in its shakedown test (again), Heidfeld will be in that Williams seat faster than you can say EDDIE JORDAN REALLY LOVES KERS!!!! :D

I dunno, that article states him 'closing in on a move to Renault' as fact, even though the quotes say nothing to properly back that up. Although i would agree that he's the most likely candidate to get a Renault seat if Alonso moves, i could also see him going to Toyota now it looks like they are dropping Trulli.... :scratchchin:

Toyota over Renault? With stabilising regulations, I think Renault will move forward whilst Toyota linger in the same spot, unfortunately :-\

no one in their right mind should move to Toyota, the most middling, average, mediocre and spineless of car companies and the same more or less applies to their F1 team. in the event that they fluke upon a decent car at the start of the season, they then proceed to spend their £250,000,000 a year budget on developing their way to the back of the grid...

I think Toyota could be a success, if they get the right driver.

They need an almost Schumacher-style revolution to ever be successful.

That means a more streamlined operation with supreme discipline. I dont' see that ever coming to fruition though and Toyota will probably fade away like Alfa did as a complete shamble.

Toyota's problem, like Honda's, is the way they operate with all decisions needing to go through the board in Japan. They also need a better designer...once Red Bull win WDCs and WCCs, could Newey find himself getting bored and moving to Toyota? :P

I can see Hamilton in a Toyota :P
Ant also given a place on the team wall.

i think their problem is the same as Jaguar's was, they are being run by a bunch of suits under orders from a massive, inflexible, risk aversive corporation with barely any top flight racing pedigree.
