Jenson looks in a different class at the moment. Well done Webber :):) . Mistake from Vettel but that aside although he's quick he's yet to convince me he can attack, maybe it will come as he gets more experience but I think its more a skill drivers either have or dont.

Anyone got a link for the BBC F1 forum? :wavey:

Jenson wins again. Bad luck for Vettel, surprised he cracked a bit under pressure from Button causing him to go wide on the first lap. We might hand Button the title now. This season is pretty much over

Yup, although remember 2006, anything is possible. Alonso got 84 points from the first 9 races and the title still went to the wire....

Boring race, with far too much field spread and nothing happening. No one really changed position after the first lap. If you check the lap chart on the live timing, you can see just what a procession it was.

Really, I was more interested in what I was having for lunch. So I left, had lunch and surprise, came back and nothing had changed. The first lap was exciting, but that was it.

Also, Vettel was 8 tenths per lap faster than Button and he still suffered massively from turbulence. So we have worse looking cars, and not much better overtaking. Seriously, get rid of KERS and give everyone ground effects and a boost button.

I think there was one driver, who was more hard done by than anyone else today. And thats Nakajima. He would've easily finished 7th today, but his botched stop said otherwise. I think that was just about his best drive ever.

Anyways, just a point I'd like to make. Turkey seems to have this uniquely odd knack for field spread. In the GP2 race this morning, it was the exact same story. None of the drivers were close together, and even drivers who you thought should be quicker, weren't. I thought Ferrari would look strong, but apparently not.

I think the field spread has actually gotten worse somehow and track looks so bare and empty, last year's race had more overtaking, especially when Hamilton passed Massa, this year Vettel couldn't get within a second of Button even on fumes.

I was quite encouraged by Williams' form today. They were on for fifth and seventh, which would have been their first double-score of the season. It's a shame that Nakajima had problems because it was otherwise a great race from him on those long runs. Shame that Nico ended up behind Trulli after the final stops, but a good result none the less. If they keep this up, they might find themselves ahead of McLaren in the standings :)
