http://m.indiatoday.in//story/michael-schumacher-sued-over-road-accident-even-in-coma/1/357102.html

To start off with I was a bit annoyed at how people are trying to sue him even though he is defenceless. However then I thought about it and life goes on the fact MS is in a coma should not stop this man getting any compensation the courts decide he is due.

Sent using NCC-1701

It's the same thing as with the blade runner, I mean we admire his athletic determination, but there can't be any sympathy for him if he's found guilty. Having said that, if it ends out that the guy suing has no case, then he's no better than the media guy who dressed up as a priest to try and get in to see Schumacher when he was first admitted.

Dumb question of the day:

How can he be found guilty by any court, if he can't testify on his own behalf??

Well, Texas executes [special needs] people, so there...

:yikes: For pity's sake, please tell me you're kidding!!!

Nope - and they call them mentally retarded

That's absolutely unconscionable!! How can someone who is blatantly guilty get off on a technicality
and someone who really doesn't understand the consequences of his actions is executed??

p.s. that term is not acceptable in these here parts!! Not that I mind, as it's a horrible "title"!! :(

Now once again, where does it rain?
On the plain! On the plain!
And where's that blasted plain?
In Spain! In Spain!
The rain in Spain stays mainly in the plain!

What I meant was if he can't give a statement of his version of events,
how can the police/authorities make any sort of informed decision?

To be fair if someone took a biker out on a round about (rotary as my sat nav calls them) there is not much doubt.

Who had right of way? Who moved into who's lane?

 Agreed, as a driver you have to be careful around pedestrians and bikers (motorized or not).
However, you raise some good questions, which... at the moment... Schumi can't answer or "defend" himself from the allegations/accusations being made.
Barring any witnesses, shouldn't the authorities be getting his version of events?
