Maybe so. It's a difference in perspective I guess, but if I was in Lewis' position I would've lied since it is in the best interests of my team and myself. In hindsight, it was the wrong thing to do since my employer is a dumb*ss in the first place to put themselves in that position, and then lie about it like 3rd graders.

He should have said no Dent. He knows that. That's why he was so upset. He went against his own ideals and compromised his integrity. In his defence he had been with McLaren since childhood. He did as he was told. As he now says himself he needs to grow up, to be himself. I think given similar circumstances now Lewis would react differently, it's probably all contributed to his desire to move on and stand on his own.

In work I have to rely on peoples integrity and professionalism or there could be grave circumstances. Personally I would rather have someone that has says they do not know what they are doing than to hope that no one notices.

What does this even have to do with the argument? It is indeed a team sport, so what do you do bud? Lie with the team or go against them and put them in jeopardy? Considering there's very little time to work with.

Sometimes it looks like you see people critisizing McLaren when there aren't anybody doing it....this isn't about McLaren or Lewis, it's both of them in that position.
