I especially like the Mercedes Tweet about it....

Oh no!!! this is the beginning, now he has a reason to get a bionic arm, and before we know it we will have TOTOminator on the pitwall :yikes:

He should get his cast made out of steel, wear a terminator mask and come to the Hungarian GP. That would be badass.

Sorry to hear anyway, but he's a tough character and I'm sure Suzie will make sure he doesn't hurt too much.

The report mentioned nothing about penile fracture.

Yeah....if he suffered that, even Suzie will be powerless.

But Sagi, surely you realise what you just said?

Yes, I do know what I said. And, yes, I stand by it because THIS year, the only competition is between teammates,
which is NOT what was available to ALL teams during Ferrari's hey day.

By the way, surely you realize that I would recognize the patronizing tone of your post? :wavey:

Yup, competition between teammates was never available in the Ferrari years, in fact come to think of it there were a few years when there was only competition between MS and his car. You could look up the earliest a season has been wrapped up if you want and then extrapolate that to this season which is halfway through and the competition is wide open

So sagi, do you think having a competition for ultimate prize between 2 teammates is worse than 1 driver claiming the ultimate prize without challenge?

That's YOUR point of view and you're more than welcome to have it.
However, Schumi won WITH a team behind him AGAINST other teams,
which IS better than ONLY two teammates competing against each other
and the rest of the grid making up the numbers.

Obviously, if it's your favourite team/driver that's winning, it would be
much more palatable then the Schumi/Ferrari years, so I get it.

And, that's MY point of view and I am allowed to have it. :wavey:

This statement will only make sense if Mercedes was currently the ONLY team on the grid.

I don't even bother arguing with you nowadays for a reason. But seriously, stop arguing Sagi....there's something called beating around the bush, and there's a new thing you've created....beating around the bush which doesn't even exist.

Mercedes is the "only" team on the grid who got it right (kudos to them :wavey: )
and the "only" team on the grid that doesn't need to further develop their car,
thus the "one" team on the grid who is most benefitting from that rule.

By the way, not being American, I can't be bothered to take offence that you've decided to use a meme of Barack Obama! :hehe:

The same way Ferrari was the "only" team in 2001, 2002, and 2004. And only 1 driver coasted to the WDC. This season we have TWO.

So what's your freaking point.

So in 2002 / 2003 when Messiah Schumacher finished the WDC with double the points of everyone else - where is the competition there??
