Lewis reverted to his old helmet for practise and quali. His new one for the US GP had H.A.M on it. The rags that enjoy having a go at Lewis said he'd been " forced into an embarrassing climb down after ditching a helmet ........which bore a highly offensive message" (mail)

I wonder if the people who write this trash are the same ones that found Kimi and Seb's' swearing on the podium during family tv delightfully funny and entertaining. The initials on that helmet are open to the readers interpretation. Once again double standards from the trash newspapers regarding Hamilton.

Yes. But as is clearly apparent it's not offensive to the majority because they don't know what it means.it could be short for Hamilton. Hamilton and Mclaren. Fuss over nothing.

Edit ..or his lunch order.

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!

What a race. Every one of his race wins has to be won in some serious fights....never seems to be able to win those easy races as his machinery seems to fail him everytime. Seems like the car only holds up if it's against some tough competition.

But that was fantastic. Against a dominant car all weekend, making every inch count and a ballsy Lewis-type manouvre for the 1st victory in Texas!

I'll also post here, even though I'm rarely on this thread. :D
Well done, Hamilton. The car worked perfectly, without malfunctions, and he got his win, tbh, finally! :drink:

Just think, as Lewis sits tied with Seb at 4 wins this season, Lewis could easily have had 7 wins...Catalunya, Singapore and Abu Dhabi. Damn shame if you ask me but it's spilled milk now.

I'm just saying...

Well, that's why he's moving on. It's a brilliant way to say goodbye to a team which is failing at its core, and move on to an up and rising team which is going to give him the support he deserves. No more kids table bullsh*t, he's going to be treated as a top driver instead of a 'son who doesn't know better than his parents' team.

Well done to Hamilton winning in the best car... I would like to see him replicate the same thing in a Mercedes. He was lucky that Vettel got held up by a back marker, so I don't really think he would have won on skill today, he was lucky.

Do you see how tiring that could get?

Now ignore that first sentence. VETTEL was the reason why the car was so good all weekend, until the race. HAMILTON was the reason why he was able to win... Because it is not a bad thing the extract the maximum possible result given the circumstances presented to you.

Vettel COULDN'T extract the maximum today, because of various circumstances... Hamilton was definitely quicker than Vettel most of the race and he did well to keep him at bay for so long.

A thoroughly deserved win from Hamilton.... And good to see those 3 on the podium...
