You're right but I'm a little too thick to go out on such a thin limb. I'll enjoy it just the same if that's the outcome next year but it will have to mean another year like this one for Mclaren and an immaculately clean year for Mercedes.
The Mercedes is capable of being in the points every race, how deep into the points Lewis can drive it is the question.
But don't stop there, why not go out on a real limb and predict that at more than one race next year Lewis driving a Mercedes will come out ahead of both Mclaren cars. That's a hair on your chest prediction.
I wouldn't say it is in the slightest, the Mercedes showed speed at times this season already, but the team have just lost it as the season has gone on... saying he'd beat both in the WDC is a real out on a limb prediction in my view.
