But don't stop there, why not go out on a real limb and predict that at more than one race next year Lewis driving a Mercedes will come out ahead of both Mclaren cars. That's a hair on your chest prediction.

I wouldn't say it is in the slightest, the Mercedes showed speed at times this season already, but the team have just lost it as the season has gone on... saying he'd beat both in the WDC is a real out on a limb prediction in my view.

You're right but I'm a little too thick to go out on such a thin limb. I'll enjoy it just the same if that's the outcome next year but it will have to mean another year like this one for Mclaren and an immaculately clean year for Mercedes.

The Mercedes is capable of being in the points every race, how deep into the points Lewis can drive it is the question.

It would be nice if there was consistency around here, especially with the constant drivel from a select few fans of driver #4. But that's ok nothing new there for this forum.

I encourage anyone that has even the slightest inkling to post anything on this thread, to read it from the beginning. There isn't anything that you could possibly state that hasn't already been said. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll pull your hair out, you'll laugh twice again at all those that have seen their demise from this forum because of this thread and then... you'll likely not post whatever it was that you were going to say.

That's not digression, you're actually in the appropriate thread for that discussion. In the end, "the only thing worse than being talked about, is not being talked about". Stephen would have to cut our salaries in half if the Lewis discussion disappeared from the forum.

Yes, I have been involved; both as an F1 fan and as a moderator, but I haven't belittled anyone's views or personally attacked any driver, like some others on this board! There has also been a lot of times, more often than not that I read something and decided it wasn't worth replying to!
