NEVEERRRR to Team GB!

Is that because there wouldn't be any Scottish players in Team GB?

You could do with our goalkeeper and a team of players who at least play together and for the jersey.
Not overpaid and over rated tosh like you had out in South Africa.

Their players are made to look good by the classy foreigners playing about them in the premier league.

How many goals did Rooney score with his head last season? Don't think he'd have scored quite as many if he didn't have Evra etc crossing them in.

Anyway, I can't see a team gb happening, I think the welsh, northern Irish and Scots prefer having their own teams, rather than being in a English dominated GB team. They'll be a team GB for the Olympics football though.

Even if this was the case this World Cup; team Great Britain would still be rubbish, the quality of the Welsh, Scottish and Northern Irish players can't be that great as England is the only 'home nation' to make it to the World Cup finals, so would any of the Welsh/Scottish/Northern Irish players make it into team GB? Highly unlikely in my opinion!

Certainly not if your name is Wayne Rooney; who seemingly couldn't hit a barn door at three feet; but made the starting XI in each World Cup match!

Well the Australian Rugby teams are only featuring players from 2 out of 6 states because only 2 states play rugby as a majority yet they represent the country as a whole.

Moving away the England; my second choice team, Japan just got knocked out on penalties; something us English know a lot about!!!

Yes I've stayed awake to watch the game, really want to watch Spain Portugal but that's way to late/ early!
Poor Japan, losing on penalties hurts, but I think Paraguay played better during the 90 and extra time so deserved the win.

Texas, California and NY are not countries so it's not quite like that.

Texas, California and NY are not countries so it's not quite like that.

Technically they are no different to Scotland Wales England, Texas was a country on it's own right for a couple years there
