What so you can rub it all in! lol. Well what can I say. Heikki beat Hamilton in quali sometimes.

Correction: Lewis seemed to have received new tyres in that Q2 and he was pushing as hard as possible. So  I don't know what was going on there...

The good thing about this is that in most the quali's where he was pushing as hard as possible and got a bad result he went on to podium. 8-)

So the rain i mean the race is not over!

We can say one thing for sure...Had Heikki been in JB's place (Lone McLaren in Q3) he would not have been 4th. Probably would have been 9th or 10th and would have stuffed up the first stint in the race for sure. McLaren can be glad at least that they now have a second shot at a good result if Hamilton has issues

Had a theory. Just a guess, but Button was struggling with warming up the tyres so much last year. Surely he learnt something from that, and about how to deal with colder conditions. Lewis has never had issues warming up his tyres, because the McLaren is usually quite hard on it's tyres.

Just thinking, maybe experience played to Buttons advantage today.

Seems like Jenson ran away from lewis today. I sure jensonb will be happy with that result. is that why RC is nowhere to be found?

She's on vacation...

Yup. Even if Lewis 'were' a bit better in the end than Jenson..... this yr's lineup is definitely an improvement.
Jenson did not do as bad in Bahrain, he was just a bit behind Lewis and had good race pace (similar to Lewis when he was also in traffic); the match up is close. People just wanted to jump on the Lewis beat Jenson wagon...... sure, still think the situtation is slightly advantageous to Lewis, but only marginally.

Very well done by Jenson!
Hero of the day? or was Vettel's lap that much above everyone else?

Very, very true. As much as I like Heikki he was pretty useless last year. Jenson is proving a much better option for McLaren, he was very good in qualifying today.

I have no idea what happened to Hamilton. Jenson out qualifying him wasn't a massive shock but to not even get into Q3 was.

As Martian said in his after qualifying interview.Their was more than one factor on why Lewis had problems. 1. he couldn't get the balance on the car right. 2. the tyre temp but like Martian said, being pulled the night before didn't help either. Now, that's not taking anything away from Button,he done a good job and put my team McLaren in a reasonable position considering how the Ferrari and Red Bulls are performing. I really think we will see the first safety cars out tomorrow and perhaps some wet weather,i also predict that Button will get a podium and Lewis will come in no less than 5th.

Something tells me that Vettel won't win the race or Webber. :yikes:
