Depends if McLaren would have him back with that haircut.

I know it is wild, wilder than him, it is a living thing.

Im still sure Ferrari will keep Kimi/Massa for 2010. Alonso has to do another year at Renault yet whether he wants to or not. We'll eventually get an announcement that Alonso has signed a contract for Ferrari for the 2011 season.

Not if Renault release him.

Kimi will be in the WRC with Fiat 2010

I sincerely doubt it. I still think Kimi has a far greater ongoing interest in F1 than everyone likes to claim.

A bigger intrest then even he claims?

I can see him staying for one more year and i can see him going to WRC. neither would be very surprising really.

Considering he has his people taking to F1 teams about drives for next year or the year after? I'd say he's interested enough to stick around for a while.

Or he is trying to get Ferrari to pay him to stay OUT of another teams seat.

Realistically I see Kimi finishing his contract and moving on but this is F1 so only Kimi know's.

Brawn sees no reason to change drivers

By Jonathan Noble Tuesday, August 25th 2009, 13:09 GMT

Ross Brawn says there is 'no good reason' not to retain both Jenson Button and Rubens Barrichello next year, ahead of the team opening 2010 contract talks with the pair next week.

Although Button's future with Brawn has been all but guaranteed, pending improved financial terms on the back of his successful season, there were no guarantees about the identity of his team-mate.

However, Rubens Barrichello's victory in the European Grand Prix, and a run of form that has hauled him back into championship contention, appears to have left him favourite to stay on for another season.

When asked if the form of his two drivers meant there was any argument for not keeping them on board again, Brawn said: "There is no good reason not to [keep them]. They are both doing a very good job, so I think after Spa we will start to look at it.

"We needed to get a number of things in place before you can sensibly talk about drivers. The Concorde Agreement is done now, that was done in the break. We think our commercial side is going to develop well now, so we can sit down after Spa, talk with the drivers and sort it out."

The only consideration the team may have to make is whether to stick with a successful experienced driver like Barrichello, or choose to bring in a young driver that it can help develop for the longer term.

Brawn CEO Nick Fry said: "You always need to look towards the future, but both have made any decisions we may or may not have to make very difficult. If we were to run with Jenson and Rubens next year I am sure we will be very successful.

"But it is not really top of our mind at the moment. They are both winning races, they are both doing a great job and, like the commercial side, we are not short of offers. But we are not with the need to rush into things either.

"We've got a good team, a great car, a superb team principal who has won lots of championships and I think we will be a good place to be. We are not waiting for an Alonso outcome this year, whereas we were last season. We will make a decision in the fullness of time, but it is not a priority at the moment."

Reading between the lines a bit, it seems like they are not 100% committed to the current lineup for next year at all, despite what it looks like on the face of that article...

Of course not. If Alonso decides to leave Renault, Brawn would be fools not to at least get in contact with him.

I wonder if Barrichello's win in Valencia has scuppered his fellow Brazilian, Bruno Senna's chances of the second Brawn seat next year?
