So the classic GPs are up.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/motorsp ... 558300.stm - South Africa 1982. Sadly not enough is mentioned on the strike, however the action is fantastic. 1982 is one of Formula One's greatest seasons.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/motorsp ... 558262.stm - Argentina 1978

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/motorsp ... 558318.stm - Brazil 1984

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/motorsp ... 558344.stm - USA 1990

and finally...

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/motorsp ... 019425.stm - Bahrain 2009.

It's good to see Eddie back - he's entaining at the least, whilst I'm not normally a fan of the loud obnoxious host type of person (eg Jeremy Clarkson) EJ tends to know his stuff and can come out with some real jems. Plus he also comes across as a harmless clueless uncle at odds with the world the rest of the time.

He comes across as clueless 24/7 to me.

Gawd the man is irritating. On the BBC's pre-season videos, everything he said seemed to irk me somehow. He apparently didn't even know anything about the new rules.

Martin Brundle on the other hand is an utter legend.

I think we'd get bored without him, as annoying as he can be.

They coped alright without him when he skived out of the China coverage and Mike Gascoyne took his place, he did an excellent job covering especially when he did the feature on the diffusers debate.

EJ's not the only BBC presenter to almost get run over in the pit lane. :P

So when's DC's turn? :hehe:

I think we can all do much better. Call me superficial but I don't think I could marry a man who thinks green trousers with a pink shirt is acceptable attire (yes, I still haven''t gotten over that fashion faux pas  )

Which then fades very quickly. :P

There's nothing wrong with grey hair, it's much better than a man dying their hair. Just like baldness is infinitely preferable to a toupee or a comb over.
