How is he a relative giant with half the points and a quarter of the racecraft? He is faster over one lap, but that's like having a big c8ck and no stamina.

Mags is around 1/30th cheaper, is faster, in his first year with another 15 of continuous improvement

That's not relative giant though. That's much cheaper, marginally faster over one lap, and maybe he'll stop being in dubious overtaking situations if he improves - then he has to learn racecraft on top of that. And if he does learn racecraft, it will probably be to the slight detrement of outright speed, bringing him back in line with Button, who's racecraft is more inate, so better.

He has a lot of potential but F1 and the feeder series are bubbling over with people just like him. The only plusses are his paypacket and an Alonso for Button swap is trading in one top driver for an even better one. If Mag stays and performs this way next year too, or doesn't show significant improvement, he's out, or should be. F1 doesn't wait 15 yrs for someone to max out their potential.

To be fair, Button has been carrying the McLaren mantle he wrapped around himself since Lewis left. Results however have been skimpier than modesty at a burlesque convention.

The best news to come out of Japan today is that Nige has his tash back

Is it just me or did Nige quickly lose interest in anything Vettel had to say. Half way through Vettel's podium interview, Nige's attitude was like, "Enough already! OK Lewis, back to you." (Oh dear...awkward!)

Vettel had quite a lot to say for third place. :hehe:

Getting on the Podium and beating Dan could be consider as a victory for Seb these days, Might as well milk that cow as much as he can.
Also notice a little booing for Vettel again on the podium, not a lot but did notice some. Also you can hear someone yelling "F U Vettel", a bit harsh, Possible Ferrari fan perhaps.

Nico has royally screwed his 'nice guy blue-eyed blonde kid' reputation this year. He was always a likeable guy since he entered F1 and very chilled persona...until Monaco of course.

I don't think the booing concerns Nico much IMO, It definetly bothers Seb more though, especially last year were booing was almost mandatory with Multi-21 and dominating 2013.

Still not sure why people think nico is a bad guy for monaco. Dude made a mistake and took the exit road. I guess some people will never get it.

You'd have to ask the people I guess.

He was hardly booed until he was favored at silverstone with the front wing & then he decided to be a jerk at Malaysia with the multi-21 situation, that's what got him the boos not the domination. You can't be a jerk towards one of (if not the) most liked drivers around.

I think he confirmed what most of the paddock and fans thought of Monacco when he executed his 'point' at Spa.

Idk, some people out there just like to boo someone that dominates. Seen it in many sports

I agree RyRy . I think Silverstone angered people and since Webber is the honorary Brit it increased support for him. Then multi 21 it turned into active and vocal disapproval of Vettel.
