They should sack Fernando he was involved in the decision too! :hehe:

Looks like Dyers been made scape goat which is sad for a team like Ferrari who preach an all for one one for all mentality.

Will be interesting to see how the traitor cough Pat Fry goes.

Pat Fry (ex Benetton ex McLaren) has definitely been given the job, you can take it as official, he's Head of Race Track Engineering. But I'd also point out he was hired for the position long before AD (mid 2010) :-)

Also Neil Martin (ex Red Bull ex McLaren) has joined Ferrari. He is now head of the Operations Research dept. Martin was until recently Red Bull's Head of Strategic Operations.

Can I ask what everyone is getting at with these "if it wasn't an honest mistake" remarks? What else would cause him, or anyone in that team, to screw up a Strategy so badly? Surely you aren't insinuating that Dyer for no apparent reason wanted Fernando to fail? What exactly would he have to gain from such an outcome? And I'd like to see at least some smoke and some flickering light from whatever fire you think he may have started.

I was saying in jest. He has been at McLaren for nearly 2 decades, cant blame anyone for wanting a change of scenery after that long at a team. Good luck to him.

Have you seen the replay of the Michael Schumacher accident at the first lap in Abu Dhabi. Please do it. Jean Todt, some days after the race, call this accident a wink.

Yes, and I also watched it live. He spun the car in a tight fight. Are you sure you have seen it? There was nothing suspicious about it.

To coin a phrase...Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're out to get you.

I'm not sure, first of all, Pat Fry is no clown, so it shouldn't go too badly wrong.

Dyer, hmm, yeah from the article it definitely sounds like they're just getting him "out of harms way" sort of thing, the bloke has a great overall record, but we've seen some pretty bad calls from Ferrari in the last few years though, mind you they were looking great with their calls towards the end of last season.

Still, apparently we'll know what they've done with him in the next few days, I suspect it'll be more of a consultant type of position, like F1ea alluded to, might just be a pre-planned transition of moving the old Schumacher staff out - Brawn, Todt, Byne, now Dyer?

In a tight fight with who? I’ve seen it a lot of times and I don’t have any doubt about it. Why would Jean Todt call it a wink? Supposedly you wink when you’re joking or cheating.
You have asked and I’m answered. Don’t question if you don’t want the response.
What are you calling me? I could answer to you in a hundred different ways that would please you, but I would rather report it to the mods than starting an absurd fight.
But any way, to coin a phrase…..just because you’re a stupid arrogant, not everybody is stupid and arrogant.
