It's interesting that, so far, Ferrari fans accept this and make light of it. Contrast that to the reaction of the McLaren fans and Alonso's waving his hands a couple of times at Petrov. Perhaps Fernando should have stopped his car and thrown some equipment around and then yelled expletives at the crowd. :whip:

I agree with you on this. There is so much bias towards Alonso. There is no doubt that if Alonso had tweeted the same, this thread would be at 10 pages by now and everyone would have voiced their anger at him.

But that's life at the top. It's tough for people like a double world champion

oh god, the tifosis attempt at taking the heat off alonso has reached low, self-sympathy reeking depths, oh yeah
i just heard petrov has received abuse on his facebook page from alonsos fans, how are we gonna tirn that on hamilton?

I can amlost see the posts if this was about Alonso though, full of people calling him a whining baby, primadonna, and he needs to man up. "what he thinks everyone in the world likes him", of course people hate him he's a cheat! etc etc.

Lewis Hamilton gets to swear at a bunch of random people on twitter, but Alonso doesn't even get to wave his fists at Petrov who contributed to him not winning the WDC :twisted::twisted:

*runs for the hills,

Sorry, I'm just bored in the off season

Are you kidding?? This is Lewis being a kid off track and not acting his age. You're comparing this to unsportsmanlike conduct on track by an arrogant loser? What do you watch F1 for, to follow these guys private lives or to watch their talent and conduct on track? I'm for the latter, and if Alonso even cheats on his wife or becomes another Tiger Woods, I wouldn't take the trouble to open up a new thread about it. Because its not our business!

For the record, I dont care how many women Woods was with, he's still cool with me. Because he didn't misbehave on the golf course. But it would've made life a hell of a lot easier if he wasn't found out. :hehe:

Well,i am a fan of his though i think this behavior is unacceptable. Some haters of anyone deserve it though when they go too far -for example revilement. But he shouldnt have responded this way, that makes him the ''bad one''.I bet he had just seen a very bad insult for him and couldnt control himself, when he really should had

Do I dare to ask you what you think about MM's extracurricular escapades?

Does Alonso has an official Twitter account? I mean a real one, not those news-link-only pieces of crap. Right now I have:

- Lewis
- Jenson
- Rubens
- Karun
- Mark
- Buemi
- Jaime
- Felipe

Why do people get so heated about words on a computer screen? Swearing is rife in modern society, we all accept that but when a famous name says it on the Internet, it's like the worse thing ever! Can we move along now? There are far more important issues to get upset about around the world!!!
