- 18 Aug 10, 21:04#211792Well compare here and there and in quali it looks Senna was better, in races Karun ended up higher. But well something happens at one race and another and all thes things sum up and it looks as it does.
But it may tell the story, but at the same time might not tell the real story. Judging a drivers basing it on a few races or a short term view is as it is. Slippery. We`ve seen it before that some drivers get a good season that is followed by a bad one. A good streak of races and a bad streak of races. Button of 2009 from Australia-Turkey and then Button from Silverstone 09 to Abu Dhabi 09 seem to look like something different; things for Jenson just kept going wrong in qualifying and followed by actionful races from his side.
So the way I see it, which probably isn`t like others do, I can`t really say who has done a better job. It`s definately not that Chandhok was dropped of because of performance as it was not any worse than Senna did. Senan certainly didn`t impress compared to Chandhok. They both have had lots of issues this year as the car is slow and unreliable as you would expect from HRT. So too little info for me to really decide. And anyway its not my issue or problem for that. HRT had its reasons for putting in Sakon and it is as it is.
Perspective...? As said before, none have shown any brilliant drives. Senna was signed already really early for the good old Campos and I believe its thnx to his nice surname. We`ll see what he does in further races, he needs to beat Yamamoto really bad to atleast give an impression of a good performance.
Lets wait and see what happens
