What a stupid comment from EJ during the qualifying, when they were discussing the safety aspect of what Alonso was doing Eddie compared Alonso taking both hands off the wheel to cover the duct and adjust brake bias while driving at speed againt other cars with a driver crossing the finish line and taking his hands off the wheel to celebrate a win.

Oh yeah, but it is very similar


Wouldn't it be funny if a driver was going to celebrate a win but spun it. How embarassing, anyone remember Justin Wilson did that in the first F3000 race of the 1999 season in Brazil?

Yes, now imagine that at racing speed approaching a turn while fiddling around with brake bias and with several other cars in close proximity also at racing speed.

Or if you have more confidence in FA than in Justin Wilson, imagine his tyre suffering a similar fate to Lewis' tyre in the last race but having one or both hands off the wheel.
