Aside from the original discussion Eddie was asking for trouble in that shirt,black was the only option surely unless he planned on using half a can of Sure on each pit and his gut

I never though KERS was a bad system; it just needed to be tweaked; the A1GP idea is the way I would go as well; although limiting it to seven uses will be too restrictive in my opinion. I would rather say something like 200-300 seconds of boost per race would be good, which can be used whenever required. Limiting it to seven boosts per race would be all used up in the opening laps as everyone jostles for position. I kept on hearing about Ferrari having an overtake button on their cars during the last GP; isn't that similar to KERS just without the energy recovery system part; raising the revs to overtake?

But ultimately my choice would be step back in time to pre-98 specs for better racing!

The Cosworth power-to-pass function used in ChampCar used to be effective as well.
