Piquet won the GP2 title....Piquet JR won allot of things but did not mean he was a talented driver, he was given the best. I am not insulting the Senna name, but end of the day i dont think he is as talented as people make him out to be...

Piquet didn't win the GP2 title, he was in F1 the year Bruno was challenging for the title, Giorgio Pantano won it that year.

Well Piquet won allot of things which i personally thought would make him have the perfect package for F1....But then i was pretty shocked to find he was horendous....Now Bruno has only raced in 1 race and i could be complwetly wrong...But drivers show somthign on the very first race...Alonso out paced some of the top dogs first season, Button showed allot of talent first time round, Lewis? Well he was a one off. Michael Schumacher did good on his first outting....So to be fair Bruno has not captured the headlines yet, but as you said if he was in Brawn last season then yes he could of won the world title....

Come on mate, his first race lasted about 17 laps in a car he'd only driven about 6 laps in not to mention a car that is 9 seconds off the pace.

I would give him time before saying he's not that good or he is that good.

So far he's impressed me with his speed compared with his lack of experience i mean he finished 2nd in Gp2 after only 4 years of Single Seater Racing Lewis won it after 6 years and alot of karting experience.

Now that i do have to agree, as i said i think he will be a good driver in a few years. I think the Car & Team should have been chosen...But he has been handed a pile of i think if Mercedes chose him he would have a good chance.....So i do agree Gaz

I would love to see Senna get in the points - and Chandhok too - but it will be an uphill struggle, but if we do get multiple safety car after safety car, or the aformentioned rain (providing it doesn't run off now we've mentioned it) there is a chance. I think the Hispania car will run better too, they have had two weeks to digest all the telemetry from the Bahrain weekend.
