what are his good points then?

lets not go there..

If we are being serious why not? I never disliked Flavio until his true character was shown, he may be a very good manager of drivers but I think he has lost the plot when it comes down to being a team manager.

Anyway this is all irrelevant to the main discussion/topic of this thread, maybe a "Does Flavio suck, Yes or No" poll should be started :hehe: ??

Thats a quality as you say Tex. he's good at managing drivers. thats all that matters. I couldn't care less if he likes to walk about naked on his boat whenever. thats not important. Surely i dont like the crap he got up to with PK. I'm not even interested in whether he was really involved in the issue at all. Thats PK's part in all that jazz. maybe we should go for that "does Flavio suck" thread.. :hehe:

To be fair, he did cheat a lot. The conflict of interest of being both a team boss and a driver manager is incredible - and it had a demonstrable impact on some of his hirings & firings.

I love how Lewis's dad steps down as his manager and Lewis instantly says he was also to blame for 2007. Hmmmmm...

I think I'm missing something here, unless your saying Anthony was telling Lewis to keep quiet?

Does it not strike you as odd?

On that basis next he'll reveal that it was Anthony to told him to lie to the stewards and that Dave Ryan would take the wrap if anybody suspected.

"At the beginning of my first year I was up alongside the two-time world champion and he was seen as the guy to win the world championship and I think at the time I misinterpreted and misunderstood the goals and the understanding of how the team worked," said the Englishman. "But since I've been here they do everything to give us individually the best package possible. I've never had more than the guy next to me, we've always had equal opportunity, which is the greatest thing in a team. It's not easy to manage that, because one guy can be ahead of the other.

whered he say he was to blame?

Nah, that doesn't even work as a joke, cos AH was the one that organised the press conference where Lewis confessed. The stewards incident appears to be the work of Ryan and Lewis alone.

He doesn't but you do have to fell that Mclaren should of kept the new boy in check. Maybe Lewis saying this is part of a warning to Button. IE lets not get upset with each other and keep it civil.

So Lewis fired his dad?? I doubt it is as ugly as it sound. He's just taking the next 'professional' step... if they have more bussinesses elsewhere, even better.
If its related to the 2007 season, i doubt anything would have made much different. In the end all parties ended as lose/winner by just 1 pt and a million:1 odds of achieving something epic... maybe a bit more maturity? they have that now.

Look at Massa and Button... their families are in the GPs, but they are only there for the fun of it. I think its clever of him to have some pro representation, it only broadens his horizons, while at the same time his dad is running other ventures.... dont see the bad in it, nor the need to make gossip about it.

I just hope the new manager doesnt let him do any flying Lewis stunts! :hehe:

No he didnt fire his dad. They've been thinking about it for a while. This isnt news. Its taken the daily mail a while to come up with this...hardly news!!

They're not called the Daily Fail (And occasionally, The Faily Fail - or even the Epic Faily Fail) for nothing.
