us brits though?

More American interest would have been good for F1 so yes in that respect, but in terms of everything else, the car, drivers, staff and such... well, i couldn't really care less about them individually.

What annoys me is we could have had Prodrive instead of USF1 who would not have had this sort of trouble and would probably be testing now at Jerez as we speak.

Agreed, i would have taken Prodrive over any of these new teams mind you.

I would have liked to see the Lola name in F1 again (ignoring the Mastercard fiasco) and Prodrive was always a no-brainer for me, they should be in it. As for whether i would have liked to see those two instead of USF1, I quite liked the idea of an American team and although i doubted that USF1 would actually materialise, I was always in favour of the concept of an all American entry.
I think I'd rather have seen Prodrive and Lola than Campos and Manor (now Virgin) though...

Makes for great drama at the very least.

Now I say, C'mon StephanGP! Lets get JV back on the grid and grinnin'. If he grins as the visor goes down, it will be worth a watch. If he feels like s*** (like D Richards managed to engender) he will be h0-hum. When he looks like a 10 year old with a new Nerf gun, Schumacher REALLY hates him...and that's good.

Mhm. If both Campos and USF1 fail to make it, that leaves a grid slot open for 2011. I wonder if Prodrive or Lola would apply for that?

Shame, I'd like to see more North American interest in F1.

F1 needs it.
Would give so much more money to the sport and more fans. (therefore money)

Hmm, I'll put the feelers out on this one - Do you think the two US drivers thing brought them trouble? My take is they set themselves up to gain the American support etc which wasn't really there at the time and failed really.

We are internet geeks, we dont have "feelers" LoL.
