It's about Sauber's lineup, how can Sauber be world champion with De La Rosa?! Heidfeld is 3425393588724x a better driver. And it would be better for Heidfeld to be at Sauber as well, because they will beat "Renault".

Perhaps Heidfeld has bought into Renault's outlandish claim that they will be back in the top 3 teams next year...!

Top 3? More like Bottom 3.

Ferrari/McLaren/Mercedes/Red Bull
Williams
Sauber
Force India
<minor teams here>

Apparently it could be Pedro de la Rosa

do not want

want Heidfeld

please GO AND GET HEIDFELD

if it's not Heidfeld then I'll cry.

:(

 I'm sure he'll get a drive, considering he's not bad at all.

Well from the voting it looks like Heidfeld, not too closely followd by 'other'. Whats 'other' like? Not seen him drive.

Well, it seems pretty much a done deal for PdlR according to Swiss newspaper Blick:
Pedro de la Rosa is expected to be announced as Kamui Kobayashi's team-mate at Sauber for 2010.

Swiss newspaper Blick, which has close ties to the Peter Sauber-led team, reported the news is likely to be confirmed soon barring "an earthquake in Hinwil".

Spaniard de la Rosa, who will turn 39 next month, last raced full-time in 2002 with Jaguar. He has since been McLaren's test and reserve driver, and the El Mundo newspaper reported recently the team had given him until the last day of 2009 to decide on his F1 role for 2010.

NZZ am Sonntag quoted Peter Sauber as admitting that "an experienced man" with "new knowledge for the team" had been signed to partner Kobayashi in 2010. He also ruled out that this driver was Nick Heidfeld.

Oh, i meant to add before, is Blick a tabloid or is it reputable?

It's a tabloid in the style of the Sun, but apparently they're pretty good at F1 coverage.

And the quoted NZZ (Neue Zürcher Zeitung) is a very serious newspaper...

so serious you need a moustache and a top hat to read it?

Pretty much and arch-conservative as well.

I don't get it. What does De La Rosa bring that Heidfeld doesn't? Heidfeld is a much better driver than DLR.

I hope Nick will have a race seat for next season, It's a shame such a good and consistent driver may be out of F1. Let's hope Renault will sign him and reunite Kubica and Heidfeld.

Looks like Heidfeld's got a choice of either Campos or USF1 now. He should go to Campos, he'd be a good team-mate for Bruno Senna.
