Its a matter of opinion, which is why the opinion expressed in the piece is as valid as any other opinion regarding who is the greatest talent. Anyone saying that Hamilton, Massa, Raikkonen, Alonso, Vettel etc. is the greatest talent would have a reasonable case and it would be difficult to argue against any of them definitively. Plus the peice is badly translated as Juliet said so the wording may have been different, they may have said 'protege' or something less strong.

you know i'm inclined to agree with you. I've never much liked Massa but you can't really argue with some of his race wins, particularly the ones in which Kimi Raikkonen, Michael Schumacher, Fernando Alonso and/or Lewis Hamilton couldn't match him for pace in competitive machinery. Personally, I'd rather have any of the drivers I mentioned in the original post with the addition of Nico Rosberg if i was picking for an F1 team.
