 but i can understand why people dont want it, but not if they chose to move there after the track was built

Exactly. How long has that circuit been there? I'll hazard a guess and say far longer than most of the people who are complaining about it have lived there. :banghead:

yeah its like moving to an airport cause the houses are cheap, and then complaining cause of the noise!!

reminds of a channel crossing i once took, haha

i think thats what happened to riverside international raceway in the late 80s out here in california, *i was too young to care at the time* but i think neighbors complained about it or something, now there is a mall where the track used to be.

What a flipping joke!!! You'd think these idiots would take note that there is a racing track near their house when they move in to a house near a track!!

If next year's race gets cancelled I think we should all go to whoever's house it was that made the complaint and protest outside it.

REally???? i think we should all turn up with baseball bats and set about them till they see the error of their ways and admit they were wrong!

Crappy crappy poo poo!!!! What are they thinking!!!!!! people who dont like Spa track, move somewhere else!!! plenty people will buy your house!!! You'd make a packet and you cud go live in a desert! Oh hang on, Bernie likes those sort of places for race tracks :(

It would be a travesty to lose Spa over noise, one man's noise is another's music.

maybe that is the answer sit outside their houses with F1 engine sounds on full blast in a sound off car.

Just thinking back to my trip there last year, we drove too and from the circuit everyday got lost twice driving around areas close to the circuit and there was hardly a house anywhere near the place, so who`s doing all the complaining i havent got a fecking idea???

the forrest people. apparently they are decendants of Motorsport drivers from yesteryear who went off the track and where never seen again. some say that the noise of an internal combustion engine is like a mating call to them and now there is high fences they can not "dock" with exhaust pipes of the engines. I is quite sad really. It is like that boy who was raised by Wolves. I wonder did he have a brummie accent?

I say burn em at the stakes!! .. we had the same problem here in capetown .. in a small seaside village called kommetjie, where the locals would launch the boats early morning for crayfish and whatever. some guy form the uk bought property opposite the slipway and started to complain to the authorities about the noise early morning. the guy was almost burnt out with his house. thats the only way to handle a issue like that. please dont quote me.
