I actually do think it's time for MS to take a role as team owner/sporting director. He lives in Switzerland and Hinwil is in Switzerland, he's rich beyond belief - what is he waiting for?

A ferrari engine supply

What is this in response to?

Oops, you just changed it and now it makes sense :)

Shouldn't be hard - he could easily pull some strings w/o even stretching or hurting his neck :P

MS is Ferrari forever! but it would be cool to have Lewis and Schumi teamed up :D

Are you or someone trying to kill me? :hehe: But yeah Hvala Bog (Thank God) that will never happen. Also even if Michael Schumacher manages to drive a race this year for Ferrari, he will never go back to F1. Too old and basically his neck is stuffed.

I don't mean to be harsh but i would love it for him to join just to see what your posts would be like :P!

Schumacher is a Ferrari man, so it's tough to see him anywhere else. Although unlikely, Schumacher did have links with Mercedes at one time and there was a chance of going to McLaren in the mid-1990s, so perhaps Haug could tempt him. I'd certainly be up for seeing Schumacher at McLaren, providing he's still good enough and willing to accept equal status with the team's other driver.

Never gonna happen.

I hope not. I would hate Schumacher in a McLaren

You would hate MS or the fact he'd be in a McLaren?

The fact he'd be in a McLaren

Erm..., why? How is that a bad thing? It seems like a good car and a good driver would be a great combination. I don't see how it would be a bad thing; something to hate.

I think from the fact that most of the McLaren fans here have said they wouldn't mind MS at McLaren disproves that statement.

Most of the McLaren fans here are a special case. This website has an unusual mix of fans - for example McLaren fans are more strongly represented than normal for various reasons. Nevertheless, I was just speaking in broad strokes.

A large number of McLaren fans do cast Schumi as a villain.

As much as I would like Schumacher back in F1,
I wouldn't want him in a McLaren.

It has always been McLaren v Ferrari,
and Schumacher is basically the embodiment of Ferrari.

I would find it extremely difficult to support him,
seeing as I screamed at him via the television in my living room for many years.

But anyway,
it is a very unlikely scenario.
