Well, this is a f***ing let down, especially as Schumacher and his people seemed to be saying his neck condition was improving. I feel sorry for everybody who decided to travel to Valencia, put sponsorship money into Formula, etc. One because of Schumacher's supposed return. :irked:

I used to have quite a strong dislike for ole schumi, but since he has retired I have grown to respect and even like him as he seemed to grow a sense of humour, thus I am quite sad he will not be returing, I was quite looking forward to the spectacle of it all!

Not sure how exciting the prospect of having Luca in is, who has genuinely expressed in the past that he is not interested in racing and is happy as a tester - not sure it will be such a great spectacle, to race you have to want to race....

Well it's a bit lame that Schumacher's had to pull out, but if he's not fit to race that's all there is to be said.

I'm pleased that Badoer's got the gig as he never had the breaks before. Two seasons at Minardi, half a season at Forti before the team folded and not quite a full season at Scuderia Italia. I remember the 1999 European GP when he had to retire from fourth and I felt so sorry for him. I'll be rooting for him for the rest of the season, even if he does drive a Ferrari...

I think the whole thing was a cynical plot to get more tickets sold at Valencia after the exclusion of Alonso

You a conspirasist?

Its although a Million Ferrari Fan's cried out at once...

I bet AKR is devistated.

Yes you just win your bet if you in fact had placed one. I just cursed a few words before. U tri pićke materine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And now what. Badoer has to drive. How boring. I don't care if he is Italian but Marc Gene is better than Badoer. But I wanted to see Schumacher race just one more time. Now I am truly disapointed. Since Schumi retired from F1 racing it was never the same. And to be honest I am super annoyed at some stuff that has happened to me in the last 2 days and this just gives me an extra excuse to curse. :banghead:

yes i placed one with Willie Webber after he said he was 200% sure Schumcher would race.

He now owe's me 1millions pounds and i also get aload of Caps with "Schui's Back - Euro GP Valencia 2009" on

Although I was never a fan of Michael Schumacher, it's a shame that he can't race as it would have been good to see how he stood up against the new young guns. But I am happy for Badoer to have a chance to race after sitting in the wings for so long. There is a part of me that thinks it was a cynical attempt by Ferrari to test the F60 to get a competitive advantage in the second half of the season.

It's a shame, I was actually looking forward to seeing Schumacher come back (and get punted off by Nakajima :P). It'll be nice to see Badoer back, remember he is the driver to have raced the most Grand Prix without scoring a single point. The last time he came close to breaking that record was 10 years ago in a Minardi at the Newburgring, and he broke into tears when his car broke down.

He is probably in a very good position to finally break that duck now, so the big question here is which poor sucker is next in line to take the "record"? :hehe:
