Indeed. But maybe Vatanen could convince the motorsport and automotive industries to apply large amounts of pressure? A lot of teams (not just in Formula One) are unhappy with the FIA, as are a lot of car manufacturers.

Well as shown when the European Car industry sent that letter to the FIA, Max just ignored it. Worrying isn't it?
If Vatanen wants to be elected, the odds are against him, because of the voting system, etc. He will have to run a very slick campaign, and probably grease a lot of people in the FIA.

Hmm. I hope this doesn't mean he is happy with Formula One as it is on the powerplant front, as it's outdated and uninteresting. Things need mixed up.
Is it just me, or does Vatenen look a tad like Max Mosely?
