Maybe Alonso going to Ferrari is part of why Schumacher has been reluctant to have a 'proper' role at Ferrari... i think there would be a SERIOUS conflict of interests.

Kimi playing around with WRC. Do we need a bigger hint??

Possibilities:
1) Kimi retires this yr. Fernando to Ferrari in 2010
2) Kimi gives it one more go... Fernando to Ferrari in 2011
3) Ferrari ditch Massa... Fernando to Ferrari in 2010. Not likely.
4) Ferrari to have 3 cars on the grid. Everyone is happy. Rossi to Ferrari in 2011.
5) None of the above.

Fernando could have had at least one more title had his time at Mclaren been smooth. But Mc got one with Lewis, so i dont think from their pt of view it was a waste.

My prediction has to be that he will top Schumacher's records, look at it, he scored 2 titles with Renault, Michael scored 2 titles with Benetton! Alonso will score 6 titles with Ferrari and be the new best thing

The parallels with Schumi career is spooky! But I don't see him winning six titles. Possibly another three as Mclaren and Red Bull will be around with good cars and good drivers. Alonso will keep that seat warm till Vettel has won a couple of titles with Red Bull.

I've always felt that Alonso's career up until 2007 was in direct comparison to Schumacher's.

Although I don't think he will come anywhere near winning seven titles, I do think that there is the possibility that he will win one or two more.

To the comparison with Michael? If he stays in F1 and all the top teams run? He will win titles

I realise that there is no contractual link, but imo BMW will still be keeping a close eye on Vettel - as would any team at this current moment.

Well I think that there would be somewhat of a bond there. If BMW could be competitive in the next few seasons and Vettel had the opportunity to switch to them it would appear to make sense. They gave him his break and well the German link up would be awesome.

It's always funny when you see "so and so to Ferrari in 2009, 10, 11, 12" etc, someone even predicted Button to go there next year! If Button, why not Danica?
