I do get fiercely defensive of my favourite drivers, specially when people talk about them, I know lewis isnt perfect, who is! And i know he makes mistakes. (still the best tho ) I just get pissed off with people who talk about nothing but "Lewis does this wrong and Lewis does thhat wrong" and whine on and on and on like little school boys. Oh Christ, sorry, I forgot myself there..its my mental health kicking in agen!

Nah but thats understandable, I hate it when people call Kimi a lazy piece of crap, or that Heidfeld is no match for Kubica and that he should be kicked off the team. But theres a time when you should just let it go, not because you're wrong or they're wrong, but because it just ruins the thread and it becomes the typical lewis bashing/defending thread which is kinda turning into the norm here. Catch my drift?

Nah but thats understandable, I hate it when people call Kimi a lazy piece of crap, or that Heidfeld is no match for Kubica and that he should be kicked off the team. When Button gets in front, its pretty much over. However I think too much is being said about his car and not enough about him. For years the Honda team spoke of how impressive he was behind the wheel, nobody really thought much of it because there were no results on the track. Now that he is winning, its all about how good his car is, and it is good, but he has driven flawlessly. His confidence is up and he is finally driving to his full potential.

On a side note, I don't think the brawn cars are as good on tires as they are being made out to be, Rubens has complained of graining at a number of circuits so far. I think the smooth driving style of Jensen is likely more responsible, and the fact that he is usually in front and not having to deal with bad air in the corners.

I have really been enjoying the Jenson Button Show. The pilot was good, I'm glad the network picked it up. I hope it gets picked up for next season too. I enjoyed the Alain Prost Show and the Nigel Mansell show. Too bad they only lasted one season each. Not cancelled due to poor ratings, but their respective stars quit the business. That Michael Schumacher Show wan on a long time. Like FRIENDS. It just kept going. I was glad when that finally got cancelled.

Yeah I understand that it can get annoying for you, but arguing over and over just feeds them. Sorry if you feel that I'm lecturing you, I'm just trying to help you out.

I agree, and I think Rubens' problem is that his driving style is too aggressive when he is pushing and it just eats up the tires.

And he was getting a bit ragged today, but good on him for trying moves. I think he was really upset after the race. Maybe today he realised his chance has gone, its a shame.

You know, as experienced of a driver Rubens is, I think he lacks patience when he is trying to make up positions and he becomes too aggressive, which causes him to make mistakes. Just look at Melbourne this year when he hit Kimi, or Bahrain when he had his hand in the air when he couldnt pass piquet, or today when he tried to pass Heikki and dived into the inside. Now he obviously has to be pushing hard to make up lost positions, but I think he becomes a tad too aggressive imo. And its not just this year, he's done it in the past too.

I must admit this season has been a tad boring! Reguardless of the fact Jenson keeps winning, doesnt bother me, it has been interesting to see teams such as RBS, Toyota, Williams and obviously Brawn doing well in the points, but I find myself watching a race, then thinking that I have just wasted several hours watching it.
