You guys are far overreacting. It's one teenage kid doing something stupid. I guy out of 100,000 is such a small percentage that he is irrelevant.

Right ok? err...gonna say somthing along lines of STFU.

because for one person to do it, its wrong.

Being one in 100,000 doesn't mean that he's the only racist there. It's just that he's the only one that did it. There could still be 50,000 other racists that simply didn't think to do it or didn't want to mess with it, or maybe that simply didn't want to make a total bottom of themselves. The fact that he wasn't stabbed in the nuts by at least one of those other 99,999 implies also that nobody really cared. Somebody that isn't racist would probably look at the guy and feel some disgust at the very least, but yet he evidently went unscathed.

Hey, check it out! My crystal ball offered me a glimpse of the 2010 Spanish Grand Prix crowd. I don't see anybody painted up in this photo, so I guess they're alright after all!

To be honest i don't think the BBC should have given the guy the air time. Treat it like other sports treat stripers. Don't let them get there point out then get security to kick the intolerant idiot out.

Yup I agree, no matter how bad it was.

Dont start that nonsense again ok.

That was all you needed to say and I agree with you.

I think (and I am opening myself up to a flaming on this I can feel it) That the whole racism thing has got out of hand.

if an F1 driver had bright ginger hair and a fan put a ginger wig on would that be wrong?

I noticed today that Jenson Button is left handed, don't ask me why I noticed! so the next time a fan waves at the camera with his left are we going to say he is handist and having a go at Button?

No doubt someone at this point will be wanting to say, ah but that is different, is it really, skin colour, hair colour, which hand you use to write is a genetic card we get dealt. so why is some cards looked on as worse than others!

on a lighter note if someone dressed up with a pillow under his shirt pretending to be Montoya was on screen, would that be classed as wrong?

I don't buy that history bullpoo. Discrimination of all kinds is equally wrong.

It's the history of slavery and other atrocities that makes it bad form to display racist behavior. If you can't get your head around this basic understanding, then I can't help you.

Of course discrimination of all kinds is wrong, but racism is a case apart. It's not in the same league as somebody making a joke about somebody's ginger hair.

Are you some sort of F-ing retard or just an undercover racist yourself?

Know one in history has been abducted, raped, murdered and kidnapped just because he has ginger hair but millions upon millions over a 400 year period of black people have, solely because of the colour of their skin. To even try to make out that it's the same just tells me that you are a F-king racist who probably thinks it's funny that a Spaniard who is probably still angry because the BLACK Moors took over his country 100s of years ago.

Do you think the Nazi killing jews in the second world war is funny? because the pain and suffering doesn't even come close to the 400 years of murder, ****, castration, branding, history stolen and languages forgotten and names changed to that of the slave master name.

You are a tool who has no idea what the meaning of the word slavery means to a black person.

It was the Spanish/Portuguese and the Britons that turned it into a skin thing and made billions of cash over a 400 year period. Without slavery ,banks like Lloyd and Barclay and Nat West and would not be here today. All these banks stated off by insuring slave master who carried ship loads of black people piled up on top of each other across the sea to the new world. Queen Elizibeth commisioned the first voyage to Africa so John Hawkins could show her the money to be made on black skin.

The good ship Jesus with it's coat of arms showing a bound and tied black man.Your history teacher never told you this but i bet he told you about sir Francis drake and Oliver Cromwell ,who all had slaves along with all the other members of parliament in them days.

So from this you can now gather that racist comments and action mean a lot more to a black person than they would by a person with ginger hair.

Get an education dim wit... :banghead:

Yeah i know slavery has been around for time eternal, yes you are right but it was never because of the colour of the skin,it was through conquest. The Romans had slaves from all over they're empire and they ranged from all colours. When they invaded Briton they took white slaves just like they took black slaves when the invaded Carthage.

This is what Lewis is up against but he puts his head down and continues,he should be commended for it just like he is slated for lying.

Ineluke, you are quite right in all you say and right to be angry but I would give jabberwocky the benefit of the doubt here and put his comments down to being tactless rather than racist.
