I hate Brawn, as a fan of British drivers they've torn me in two. For so long I've wanted to see Button in a decent car but I'm also a Mclaren/Hamilton fan. No idea what I'd do if it came down to Button vs Hamilton towards the end of the season.

Take pride in the fact that two of your favourite drivers have the opportunity to fight for the championship? :)

I'd LOVE to see that.

I wish Brawn would sort their livery out, the white against the luminous yellow is causing me temporary blindness in my right eye every race. :D

Other than that, I like the team. Jenson is so much more likeable compared to Lewis.

1. I like their drivers
2. Ross Brawn is one of F1's most prolific minds
3. Nick Fry sucks
4. Brawn's livery/logo/colour scheme
5. The new car's lines / design

I probably share with some of Brawn's dissenters  the fact that they are being competitive after having canned 2 whole seasons. Having teams giving up is kinda boring and against what he spirit of F1 and sports should be.

Examples: BMW. They should have kept fwd with last yr, and they may have gotten Kubica a better shot at WDC and perhaps given Nick some chances as well... but they hung up and now they are not as competitive as they wished. Also Red Bull and Toyota... they didnt completely give up last yr and turns out they have good cars for this yr. On the flip side, Ferrari and Mclaren both made last yr interesting by pushing all the way, and now they are struggling.

Anyway... its good to have various teams able to fight for wins/podiums. So although its good that we have a different team at the front, from what we've gotted used to... i also wouldnt like them to absolutely erase everyone else's hopes.

Why would someone hate any team? Hate is such a strong word...The teams are there providing entertainment to us, why hate? That said, I like Brawn GP, and the mere suggestion that them are cheating is quite laughable.

For some people (including Briatore!), if your team is not the one winning, then the winning team is cheating.

:hehe:

GO BRAWN GP! :D

The impression i get is that the haters are usually green eyed monsters who consider them 'cheaters', which is frankly ridiculous. Theyve also helped themselves by keeping Nick Fry out of the way for the most part so far...! :hehe:

The great thing about Brawn is that they'll potentially inspire a resurgence of the non-manufacturer teams, i can't see Toyota and Renault hanging around forever, BMW maybe longer if they can progress. And when you factor in the new budget rulings as well...

And if Bernie wants his 26 car grid for next season, now's the time for new privateers to step forward into the light. We know about USGP's intentions, who else could we see? Remember the Renault World Series team that last year announced its intentions to race in F1 ASAP when the right moment arrives? Will they follow up on their ambitions and step forward too? Can the dynamic duo escape from the clutches of Mad Max, Catwoman and his deadly whip? Tune in to next week's epiode!!

The only way Bernie is going to get 3 new teams is this stupid £30 Million budget cap but he may easily loose 3 teams with it! I think one team said "I've spent £15 million on KERS I now have to spend £10 Million on redesigning the car and the diffuser and I would only have £5 million left" The minimum workable budget cap for 2010 and all the teams is £100 million I think every team on the grid spends at least that amount of money at the moment and that would mean Toyota, McLaren and Ferrari spend a third of what they spend at the moment! IMO they have to make it workable for all the teams because the idea of a 2 tier F1 is stupid!

It would never drop as low as £30m. Once again, Max is putting forward the threat of huge changes so that the teams will offer a compromise that is close to his actual target. I think £50m will end up being the budget cap, should it be enforced.

I was a fan of the team when they started as BAR stayed on board with Honda because I liked their driver line up, and thought Honda would pull through with a winning car, as they have in the past. (could not stand that "Earth" Livery though).
I was happy to hear that R.Braun was joining the team and thought good things were on the horizon, never thought they'd explode with a great car like this though. For the record I do remain a big Hamilton fan and my dream F1 team would be Hammie at Braun GP with Button, and although I'm not british I'd think it would be great to see that car in BRG with the dayglo stripe.

The KERS system to me has to be the worst idea in F1 of all time, Not only is the timing horrible, due to cost cutting, but it's a safety hazard in the cockpit. FIA should cut it's losses with this one before any more teams waste money on this technology. let's just start running Toyota Prius engines, that'll save money and the planet, and everyone will have equal power.

Lewis is my out and out favourite as you know and I've supported Mclaren for many years now. Have a soft spot for Webber too when he's not moaning. That said I think its great to see Brawn doing well, I have no problem with that and its nothing to do with mercedes engines as was suggested. Its nice to see the challenge facing McLaren and Lewis and how they'll measure up to it. If they were always at the front that would become boring. Close competition by more teams is great for the sport. And I like to see the little team do well. I loved Jordan.
Im with you on the colour scheme Hannah, I think the Brawn looks great! I might get some Brawn gear at Silverstone :D But the McLaren remains the prettiest car, I think its gorgeous.

Apart from Brat-atore, is there anyone who dislikes Brawn GP? Most teams have their antis, but I don't remember anyone being anti Brawn GP?

Any antis out there?

Nah, they're okay I guess.
