He didn't like the last team who made him a decent car!

Any team that got me all wrapped up on scandal and espionage would not be high on my list of favorites either. Oh wait, but didn't dear Lewis get all bent out of shape just this past couple of weeks over the exact same thing? I believe he did...oh but then he is British...so all is well. Maybe if Alonso had called a press conference and thrown a public fit over it...that would have been a better thing than just leaving at the END of the season. Yeah..that would have been the ticket.

LOL yeh but Lewis didnt' threaten to go the FIA unles Mclaren made him number one because he couldnt' beat his team mate on equal circumstances

I'm real sorry if I hurt your feelings there little tike....I had no idea you were so fragile. I would watch the personal attacks though...its being frowned upon around here as of late. I'll forgive without response though, I know what a state you get into when your hero isn't looking good. With all the press coverage lately and poor race performance....you are likely crying yourself to sleep each night. Chin up mate...when you are at the bottom there is nowhere to go but up.

Instead, we can both let it go and wait for tomorrow's race...at which time we shall see if your hero has what it takes. If he wins the day, you can gloat and declare the world belongs to you....but we both know that is highly unlikely now don't we? Not going to kick you while you are down though..that would be unsporting. That's the problem with being in love with one driver....unlike the race fans who enjoy the race no matter....your happiness hinges on one inconsistent driver's finish.

Ok, I'm sorry if I hurt your national pride by stating that Hamilton is British and insinuating that most of his fans wouldn't give a rats bottom about him if he were not. This has been stated by the press everywhere from London to China, but if it hurts your feelings I guess I'll retract it. It would take a pretty dull person not to notice the British-Hamilton connection though...even if it were not discussed at such length everywhere on the planet.

I'm a little confused as to why Alonso would have pitted from 2nd place behind the safety car just to come out in last with more fuel. If Renault wanted to change their fuel strategy why didn't they start him from pit row and change the car to a full wet set up? I'm confused as how anyone at Renault would think this was a good idea. I could understand if he was maybe starting back in 12th, but why take him out of 2nd? The visibility and chances of not getting run into on a wet track are way better upfront, Alonso would have been better off letting the field spread out after 7 or 8 laps and come out after the pit stop in maybe 8th or 9th rather than pitting behind the safety car to come out in last.

I don't think he had much fuel left in the car and as Renault have said, they took a gamble with the SC but it just didn't work out.
